A long time ago our chiropractor on Immokalee Rd. held a little party, serving the thinnest, cheesiest, most delicious pizza from the pizzeria across the plaza. From that day I have been going back to L'Appetito with my friends every chance I get. We went every half-day during high school and now when we’re all back in town together, it’s the first place we go. Their pizza is super thin with very little sauce, which is good for me because I’m not a huge tomato fan. And you know the way cheese pulls and stretches in commercials but never in real life? The cheese goes on for miles as you pull your slice up from the pie (sometimes it’s difficult to cut it loose!). It is the juiciest pizza I’ve ever had. And their strawberry cheesecake! It’s absolutely divine. Beautiful and sweet with the strawberry baked in and gel drizzled on top. Their prices are very reasonable and I do believe they serve it by the slice around lunch time. The only things to note is that L’Appetito is (I think?) a franchise, as there is L’Appetito, and then L’Appetito II and III. I live a few minutes away from L’Appetito II and the pizza there just isn’t as good as L’Appetito on Immokalee Road, so I make the extra drive over to it and everyone should as well. The atmosphere’s a little lacking but it’s a restaurant with good food, so that’s all that matters. Definitely stop by this place if you’re in the area.
