“Go for the fresh food if atmosphere is a low priority.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Food is fresh and prepared quickly. Everything was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. I had a crab cake appetizers. One cake for 8.99 was a bit high, but it wad yummy in a nice sauce. My friend and I split the pasta with sauteed shrimp. We both had plenty to eat and it was around $16 for the entree. Not bad. The shrimp were prepared perfectly. This place is in a strip mall right on Tamiami. Just a whole in the wall, but a good find with good food.

“Fresh Florida grouper!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Was on a weekend getaway in Naples and had a taste for fresh fish. Read about this local favorite on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is small and super casual, but service was excellent My sister had fried grouper and I had blackened grouper garden salad. The salad had lots of fresh garden vegetables, homemade vinegarette, and a generous piece of fish, blackened just right. My sister enjoyed her choice as well. I recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Florida seafood in a cozy, casual atmosphere.

“Not good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

We always try local flavor but this was flavorless! Family of 5 first mistake we made: 3/4 ordered drinks. 2.75 for tea or soda! Jeeesh! Second mistake and should have been a warning, the waitress said everything was good. Uh, no. The grouper had no taste, very heavy and greasy! The taco fish was flavorful but only 3 teeny tiny strips. The crab cake sandwich was a joke and was smaller than the bun and mostly breading! We all left feeling horrible. Very heavy and sick at our tummies. Was it the food or the bill that was 100.00 for a crab cake sandwich, 3 grouper plates and a fish taco plate?! Oh and the four drinks! Atmosphere was outside a strip shopping center with flies everywhere including swarming us once our food was delivered. So much for local flavor!

“The Local's Place for Fish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

This is a small, quaint place for a quality seafood lunch...you definitely know that it is family run. Best conch fritters that I ever had and the grouper was definitely fresh.

Highly recommend and come early for lunch or you will be waiting...but its worth it!

“Don't be put off by the location - food is excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

This is a local place where they know the regulars by name. We had the grouper (fried and broiled) which was terrific and did not disappoint, but I fell in love with their crab cakes! We shared one as an appetizer. This place is a small place with only a few tables inside and a few outside with quick attentive service by the wait staff. Terrific food and is highly recommended.
