“REAL italian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

Always a great meal and experience. We are locals and genrally avoid places on 5 ave for usual dining becaue they are expensive and not always good. We can always depend on Tulia for a great meal. Now if you like generic italian this may not be your cup of tea. This is real food, the kind I had growing up, not overdone swimming in sauce and cheese crap you get at chain places. It is simple quality ingredients done well. The service is always excellent also. The tables are close, and it can get loud. If you want quiet sitting outside may be better. They also have some interesting, yummy cocktails!

“A new top quality restaurant in Naples, FL”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

Menu is extremely interesting. The chef/owner is hands -on as the dishes leave the kitchen. Food is very fresh and most locally grown or raised. Wide variety from Italian favorites with a new twist, to chicken, steak, and fish prepared to your taste and desire.

“Don!t Expect the Normal Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014 via mobile

As my title implies, this is country Italian. Very rustic food and decor. Be ready for a large selection of wild meats; wild boar, rabbit, etc. started our meal with homemade Barata and a salumi plate. The cheese serves one, the salumi is plenty for 2. Moving on to entree we each had the handmade tortoloni with short ribs. Delicious, but I expected a pasta dish with a short rib and got 4 tortoloni stuffed with 1/2 tablespoon of rib meat. Lovely atmosphere for eating inside or out. A nice downtown choice for visitors to Naples

“Great addition to Naples dining options...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

On the night before New Year's Eve, my wife and I just came in off the street for dinner, not knowing what to expect from this attractive new restaurant on Naples' Fifth Avenue. What a pleasant surprise. Courteous, prompt, and attentive service; great selection of fresh and creative dishes, and reasonable prices. We enjoyed a unique salad before two just outstanding entrees. My pasta with wild boar was perfect. Our planned New Year' dinner the next night paled by comparison - can't wait to get back to Tulia on our next visit to Naples.

“Truly Spectacular Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

Osteria Tulia has an elegant, rustic feel, however, the food is anything but rustic. The bread and egg-plant tapenade served prior to your meal is quite memorable and could be enjoyed as a meal. The appetizers and entrees are uniquely exquisite, oozing with flavor. The portion sizes tend to be somewhat small, but that does not diminish the value given the food quality and taste. This will be a "regular" stop on my visits to downtown.
