“worth the fee to park (you pay meters other beaches anyway).”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

You get a golf cart ride down the boardwalk through the mangrove swamp each way, or you can walk the 3/4 mile or do some of both (wave them down to pick you up if they have room). Carts go round trip every few minutes, back and forth all day. Nice small facilities on beach, all Hosted by Waldorf Astoria resort. It is a relatively narrow beach, but not overpopulated. Sand bars are fun. Shells galore. Loved having Mangrove forests around the beach rather than staring up at row of Condos. Swam with rays around me (I don't mind, has happened before in gulf so not just special to this beach!). Then Dolphins frolicked by. :) I was a happy camper.

“Relaxing and Quiet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This is my second time visiting Clam Pass. I normally go to the Naples Pier beach, and have started to venture away and start trying out different beaches. The parking fee for the day it is $8.00, but you don't have to worry about meters it is just the one time fee. Then, you can either walk or take a tram ( 7 person golf cart) ride to the beach entrance. From were you park to the actual beach it is about 1/2 mile walk, so the tram works perfect if you have lots of things to carry. However, I would highly recommend walking because it is absolutely beautiful with lots of trees and nature. On the beach you can pretty much sit anywhere and there is restrooms and a restaurant located right where they drop you off by the tram. There is a place to rent out recreational items for the water. All-in-all....I thought it was a peaceful beach to catch some sun and have some drinks.

“Interesting beach experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Take a free tram ride through a mangrove swamp to the beach. Great facilities for changing and showering and a snack bar. They also rent a variety of beach items. Plenty of parking.

“Naples must do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

The near mile tram ride through the mangroves is serene and cooling. It's also a great walk to get to the beach over the same boardwalk. The beach is beautiful with an outdoor restaurant/snack bar and rest rooms. Beach umbrellas and equipment also for rent.

“Good beach - clean - but slight hassle to use.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

On the left side is the Waldorf Astoria seating area, with their chaise lounges, umbrellas and fancy towels. And to the left is the family (non hotel) crowd that parked their cars in the public lot ($8.00 parking fee!) and hefted their coolers and folding chairs. That said, there's no reason one cannot use the left side, just plunk yourself down among the tony hotel guests! Beach and water are clean and enjoyable - only drawback is the is shuttle service from the parking lot, while it is free, sometime it takes a little while to board. Walking is always an option but takes 20-30 minutes. The Waldorf operates a snack bar, but the prices are quite high, like $8 for French fries.
