My wife, grandson and I had a great time at Clam Pass during our recent trip to Naples, FL.
Parking is $6.00, then you can choose to walk the half mile boardwalk or take a tram and, maybe, get regaled with a comedy routine by the driver.
When you get off the tram there are restrooms, nature/ecology displays and a very popular restaurant/cocktail bar.
The beach is directly on the gulf, with clean white sand and plenty of shells. Up the beach there is a sand bar which is fun for the kids.
There is a concession that rents umbrellas, lounge chairs, kayaks, aqua trikes, catamarans, etc.
All this does not come cheap but if you don't have your own beach furniture or lunch and drinks it is very convenient and makes for an enjoyable day at the beach.
