“Great Value with a Great View”

Cove Inn on Naples Bay

I guess it depends a lot on which unit you have, but we had #205 which was on the 2nd floor with a wonderful view of the harbor, boats, and bay. Balcony was spacious and had table and chairs. Wish we had known as we would have stayed longer than the 1 night. Room 205 has wonderful decor and nice touches to make your stay very comfortable. We booked only a few hours before arriving and were suprised that the room was so nice at only $85 + tax. Great choice of waterside restaurants on site and good size pool. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Cove Inn for a night on November 6th and it was as nice as advertised. The view of the sailboats and dock was great, the pool heated, the staff pleasant. The food at the restaurant downstairs was good but standard breakfast fare, however I signed the charge slip for a certain amount, and it was higher when I went to pay at the front desk. Was the waitress padding her tip? If you go, stay awhile, it was hard to leave after just one night.

We stayed at The Cove in May of this year for 2 weeks. We asked for a waterview room...which they gave us....technically. Our room faced the water...however 3/4 of the balcony's view was completely obstructed by a palm tree. The palm tree issue took 3 days to remedy. We requested another room...after a number of discussions with a truly surly hotel manager...she finally sent a number of fellow "pen-pushers" to varify the obstruction...and shortly thereafter a couple of very able fellows came around to trim the trees.
Our toilet leaked...quite a bit...that took a day to get fixed....
The truly ugly furniture in the room was never remedied...nor would they move us to another room...as the annual..."famous" canoe race was taking place...and they were going to be completely booked.
The room was in need of an overhaul. These apartment/condos are privately owned, so each unit has a different look....we stayed in room 230...something...none of us can remember which digit after that. The room is in sad need of redecorating and new plumbing/appliances. The toaster didn't work....the microwave was sad....the tv was sad....
HOWEVER.....the pool was very nice...and deliciously warm....there's an adorable tiki bar right by the pool which is very inviting. The docks are right by the hotel which allows a lovely view and very interesting viewing while one sips a cool beverage on one's balcony.....
So, in closing...i might try The Cove again...however i definitely wouldn't stay in the same room....I would get a 2nd floor room....with a water view...and request viewing the room prior to agreeing to rental.

We stayed at The Cove Inn on route back from the Keys after first staying at Best Western Naples, on our way to Treasure Island, our room was lovely nicely decorated, and very clean had a fridge and microwave, if we had known before we would have stayed here but we booked the Best Western before we travelled. We will definately be going back and will spend more time there. It is in walking distance of 5th Ave which is great at night. We were told to look at the room before we took it which is a great idea, and the staff were friendly and helpful, even the older guy who someone said was rude to them in an earlier review.

“Very Pleasant Stay”

Cove Inn on Naples Bay

WE stayed one night on route and we were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the quality of the rooms for the price. We had adjacent 2nd floor rooms overlooking the Chickee Bar where we were welcomed by the locals.
This is an excellent base for the rest of Naples which we did our best to see in the short time we had. Tin City is within easy walking distance and the Boathouse restaurant provided a convenient enjoyable evening meal.

All the rooms are unique because they are all owned and sublet when not being used by the owners. We found this gave the rooms an additional personal touch.
