My wife and twin teenagers just returned from a very nice vacation in Naples, during which we stayed in a 3-bedroom suite at the Greenlinks resort. This was our first trip to Naples, which we found to be quite enjoyable. While not fancy, the Greenlinks was a fairly new condo within a larger community called the Lely Grand. The condo (room 521) was clean and spacious with a nice view of the 10th hole of the Flamingo Island course, one of three within the Lely complex. When booking the reservation online, I noticed that (not surprisingly) we were paying a premium for Christmas week. Even so, I found the cost to be quite reasonable relative to the accomodations. Traveling at another time of year looks like a virtual "steal".

My son and I played the two courses available to non-residents, the Mustang and Flamingo Island courses. Both courses were in great shape. While they both had fairly open fairways (great for a slicer like me), the hilly nature of the Flamingo Island made it quite a bit more difficult than the Mustang.

The Greenlinks has a fairly small pool with a comfortable lounge area surrounding it. The restaurant at the nearby Clubhouse had a very nice and reasonably priced breakfast buffet. We also had an enjoyable lunch there.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The small lobby area has a single Internet-connected PC available for guest use and a wireless connection available there (but not in the rooms) in case you bring your own laptop PC. You may have read in other reviews about the home-baked cookies and muffins. While we never made it for the muffins (apparently they came out at 8AM), we did take advantage of the cookies on two occasions, when they came out at 3PM. While the rest of my family loved them, they were a little raw for my taste. Nonetheless, this is a nice little touch.

It should be pointed out that the Greenlinks is in a residentail area of Naples which is a considerable distance from the main (upscale) shopping district, a 15-20 minute drive. Our favoiite meal was at Bice, an excellent Italian restaurant with siblings elsewhere in the U.S. and other parts of the world. When the weather is warm (as it was for our stay) it's great to sit at a table outdoors. We also took a pleasurable sightseeing tour on the Naples Princess, where the main feature is an impressive array of waterfront mansions.

This was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. We will definitely return to Naples and Greenlinks.

Upon arrival at Greenlinks (Friday, 22nd September - in a thunderstorm when the Heavens opened!) we were greeted by a first class receptionist who immediately made us feel 'at home and completely relaxed' with nothing being too much trouble for her. She, voluntarily, provided us with maps of the area and gave us the benefit of her expertise as to where to visit for an enjoyable stay.

On settling in our apartment (615) we received a phone call from reception checking that all was 'to our satisfaction'. Indeed, what more could we want - a spotlessly clean, comfortable apartment with every facility one could wish for. The complimentary morning and afternoon coffees/teas (with freshly baked cookies in the afternoon) were to 'die for'. Such wonderful memories we have of sitting by the beautifully clean pool / poolside and sauna with our cookies. We are, indeed, 'lost for words' to describe how tranquil and enjoyable the resort was. In fact, when we returned to England we discovered that we were careless enough to leave behind some possessions. All it took, was an e-mail to Greenlinks and our 'left luggage' is now being shipped out to us - WHAT MORE COULD ONE ASK of the integrity of the housemaids and staff employed at the Resort. This is a 'glowing' testimonial - we highly recommend this resort.

I have just returned from a two week holiday in Florida booked through Travel City Direct. The first week was spent in Orlando at Orange Tree complex and the second week at Greenlinks at Lely Resort. The villa at Orange Tree was superb and the apartment at Lely was out of this world. All of our party could not get their breath when we saw the standard of both places. Greenlinks in particular was set in the most wonderful suurounding. The staff where extremely helpful and the accommodation wanted for nothing. I would highly recommend both properties and am at a loss to know how Travel City Direct could provide such a high standard of accommodation for such a small price. A great time was had by all.

This is a brand new condo resort on a golf course, and the rooms are large, extremely clean and well-designed with lanais and large kitchens. We had a beautiful roman tub, a shower with great pressure and the bed was wonderful...best sleep I've had ina long time. The pool was very nice, and they have hot chocolate chip cookies, coffee and muffins all day long. I ate breakfast at the clubhouse (not being a big fan of muffins) and it was very good. Everyone who worked there was nice. It was not very crowded when we went...lucky for us! (We got to eat more cookies.)

In a delightfully quiet location, we loved this classy, upmarket resort. They are privately owned condos and beautifully kept. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which was spotless, had every amenity required (full kitchen, dining talbe, sitting area, balcony) and was near the shared pool. Although there were lots of cars at the resort, the pool was always quiet. The muffins and warm cookies with coffee or tea available at reception in the afternoon were addictive. The golf was expensive so we tried floodlit evening golf at the Links, Naples - an unchallenging, dull course but cheap and fun to try at night - although the bugs were unexpectedly bad. This resort was a delightful haven to return to after sightseeing in Naples and enjoying the fantastic wildlife at Cypress Bend and Corkscrew Swamp in the Everglades - after a short walk at both we saw hawks, allligators, snakes, raccoon, egrets, ibis, turtles, kites, wood stork, vultures etc....... Made a nice change from the standard hotels available.
