Many of the posts on here regarding the service are very accurate. It is a beautiful hotel but I did not feel as though I was staying at a Ritz based on the service. Having access to the ocean resort was great at a fraction of the price. There are shuttles run back and forth every half an hour.

It all started as soon as we arrived. We showed up at around 10AM and they told us they would have a room for us by 5pm. What the heck...We complaiined and the magically found a room for us within an hour. It wasn't even crowded so I do not know why they wouldn't have rooms ready.

The issue that irritated me the most was that I had called the concierge prior to arriving to have some treats delivered to our room for my wife's birthday. The were supposed to deliver them before dinner. It never showed up and I called them later in the evening to make sure I was not being charged and they had totally forgotten.

I am not a pompous traveler like some of other visitors that left reviews but have stayed at many nice resorts. I think that it is a nice hotel and one of the better ones in Naples, but I cannot understand how so many people could have given such glowing reviews.

Stayed for 5 days week of 20th March. Conducted a fair anount of research of appropiate hotel to take 16mth old toddler. We reserved the junior suite on pool side, works well with baby monitor for nap time , pool is quieter than beach resort and perfect for babies. Close to hotel is bakery (name escapes me) with affordable food for breakfast and lunch, we never ate in hotel, self parking is also an option if you hate the valet wait. Gym is great, staff are great and make sure to ask for microwave as they will provide.
Would return but ask for room not overlooking front of hotel.

Room was spacious, food was excellent and reasonably priced. We took one trip over to the Beach hotel but it was so windy when we were there the pool and beach were uninhabitable. The golf resort has excellent pool and tennis facilities and free wireless access for your laptop in the lobby and three free computers on the ground floor next to the business center. Concierge desk was very knowledgeable and helpful. Short ride to shopping and restaurants.

We decided to stay here for a change instead of the Ritz Naples Beach, which is one of my favourite hotels in the world, with an unrivalled Club Floor.

We found the service at the Golf Resort was generally very good and the staff on the Club Floor were very obliging.

Everything looks new and is maintained in excellent condition. Our main issue with the hotel was that it was very, very quiet while we were there (20-24 Dec 2005) and I just prefer the size and feel of the RC Beach Resort.

I would still recommend this hotel, but next time I'll be back at the RC Naples Beach.

There was one mistake after another. First they sent me a confirmation with the wrong rate. Got there and the concierge sent me to a restaurant that was closed. Then there was a charge on my account that was not mine. The hotel was beautiful and in a good location but the services was terrible. The only good thing is the access to the Ritz Beach Resort. They were the saving grace of the trip. Treated you like you should be treated.

My wife and I looked at the trip advisor reports before our recent trip to Naples, and it seemed that the Ritz Golf Resort was by far the best place to stay in Naples. We took the advice and stayed there over the Ritz Beach Resort.
We almost cancelled our trip due to hurricane Wilma 2 weeks before our stay, but decided to go when the hotel said they had absolutely no damage and everything was up to par.
Upon arrival, we had to empty the bags from our car ourselves because the bellhops and doorman were busy watching the repairmen fix the light in the car port that had broken during the hurricane. We really aren't that stuffy, so things like that just roll off our backs. When we got up to the club floor where we had a suite, they informed us that this was the first day this floor was reopened due to water damage from Wilma. So much for no damage but they were open so we were fine. The staff on the club floor were exceptional, they met any request we had with a big smile.
Although the golf resort was nice and the staff generally was helpful, we spent 90% of our time at the beach resort. Their pools were much larger, the beach was right there and it just seemed like there was more to do there with kids than at the golf resort.
I would strongly urge anyone with children, to stay at the beach resort. It is a wonderful place with many, many things for the kids.
