“First Class Bargain in August and September.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

I had stayed at the Ritz on the Beach many years ago and was very pleased. This hotel is closed till the beginning of October for major renovation so I thought I would give it a try. The facility and staff are truly representative of a first class hotel.
The big discovery I made was that if you don't like crowds, the time to come to south Florida is August and September. I was concerned at first with the room rate being too low for a first class hotel but now know why. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to play the golf course. It looked first class and I look forward to coming back. Room service was above average and the light meal we had on the terrace was great.
We met a couple for a light dinner and unfortunately one of them was a little under the weather. She wanted soup but thought the clam chowder or bisque would be too heavy. The waiter, I wish I could remember his name, picked up on this and said if we could wait 30 min they could make some chicken noodle soup. Very impressive.

Room Tip: Check the off season rates.

Went to e Ritz for one night for our 40th anniversary. Just wonderful, the people, location, facilities , food., it all was wonderful! Played golf at Tiburon, beautiful course. The people at the hotel and golf course couldn't be more helpful. My husband left his new Oakley sunglasses in the golf cart and 2 hours later they were returned to us. We got a great deal on AmX with the platinum card. A lovely anniversary get away!

Beautiful resort! The first room they put us in had a toilet bowl missing :-/ BUT they quickly switched our room with a nice up grade. Would have much rather stayed at the Ritz down the road on the beach, but that is closed for renovations.

My wife and I stayed here for our 25th Anniversary and enjoyed our stay. Of course the service was great the accommodations were elegant and refined, the food was good. I like the fact that we can also use the facilities at The Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort a few miles down the road. There is a level of service and expectation you expect from the Ritz-Carlton hotels and this one did not disappoint in anyway. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Naples Florida.

Had a great time while in Naples for business at this property. The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and really comfortable. The staff is super nice and accommodating. This hotel is pet-friendly and they give great swag for your doggies! Can't wait to return, thanks for a great stay:).

Room Tip: Choose a room away from ice machines and try to get a view of the golf course.

Absolutely, yes it is. The resort has relaxing ambience, with dark, rich wood and easy- on-the-eyes colors. We had an awesome package that included breakfast daily, as well as a $50 per day, resort credit. So, my tip would be to check their website for specials and packages, before you book. Even with a small glitch, the Ritz knows how to recover and does so with style and grace. Food is delicious, rooms are sparkling clean. (I admit to be a clean fanatic and clean the drawers out before using them, but that was not necessary here). Spa treatment was pricey, but really good. Lastly, if you are looking for a professional, efficient, friendly and well-trained staff, this is the resort for you. This resort could boast about their fantastic staff, but they are too polished to do so. Fabulous trip!

It is the fine details that truly distinguish exceptional hotels from others in their price and class category. This stay was exceptional. From the moment we drove up, everyone was attentive. All prior requests on our reservation were correctly noted and the check in process was easy and straightforward. The bell captain was both efficient and informative about the property and the community. A few minutes after settling in our room, we received a very nice welcome amenity of a plate of cookies which were first rate. Our rooms were well appointed with uniformly high quality furnishings. Everything provided in the room from toiletries to linens to the coffee service was high quality. The amenities of the hotel are similarly first rate. It has a well laid out and large saltwater pool that is lovely. There is a nice fitness center and a game room for the kids. However, the best aspect of the hotel was the amazing staff. The valet parking staff all but ran in order to get people their cars. The front staff was always friendly and inviting and making sure we had everything we needed. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless and well stocked. The concierge, Norma, provided great restaurant recommendations, pointed us to local services that we needed, and even helped us arrange aspects of our trip extending beyond our stay at the hotel. The poolside staff quickly provided us with cushions, sun umbrellas and great poolside food. The restaurant waitstaff was nothing short of exceptional and had the ability not just to respond but to anticipate every need. This is what five star service is suppose to be. We look forward to returning.

Room Tip: Choose a room with golf course view
