“great golf resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Coming from Europe for sun and golf, Naples is a perfect destination. The Ritz Carlton is a beautiful resort with 2 perfect conditioned golf courses. Organisation of the golf is perfect as well, we could not have dreamed for more. We were in a golf package, and we even played a extra 9 holes in the afternoon with buggy, no fee asked - wonderful!

The rooms are large, clean, nice decoration, it has everything needed, a big bathroom but with no bath in it. We had no diner but breakfast was excellent, maybe short in bread diversification (only bread to toast, but very tastefull croissants.

They have a nice pool, but in november there was no sun anymore at the swimming pool after three c'clock. So for swimming and beach we went with the shuttle to the nearby Ritz Carlton beach resort. There they have also a very good beach restaurant!

All personal are very friendly and helpful.

A perfect getaway for golf lovers!

PS You need a car as downtown Naples is a 20 minute ride

This was my 5th time staying at his Ritz Carlton. This was a quick 1 night business trip. I love the decor and warm feeling that you get throughout this hotel. Pristine grounds, impeccable rooms and comfortable common areas. This stay was during the off-season and I had a great rate. I've had off-season stays at some other Ritz locations and it seems that the hotel scaled back a little bit. Not the case at all during this stay. The workout/fitness area is very good as well.

Had a great breakfast in the restaurant with a business partner. Excellent food with just the right amount of service from our server who quickly observed that we were having a breakfast meeting and didn't need to be "overserviced".

I will stay at this hotel in the future.

Room Tip: The rooms face the golf course or the front of the hotel. The golf course view is the better view...

The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort has beautiful rooms, restaurants and a great pool. It is adjacent to Tiburon Golf Club, that offers two 18 hole courses. But the best part is the non-golfers can take the quick 10 minute shuttle to the Ritz Beach Resort or enjoy shopping in historic downtown Naples. It's still the Ritz, so be prepared to dress appropriately - even though you'll pay less than half the room rate of the Beach Resort.

Enjoyed the resort with my family. We were there for a junior golf tournament and had stayed with a group rate. Beautiful entry and lobby spaces. Nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Reading other reviews, people noted restaurant was expensive. However, I found it to be in line with prices of a fine dining restaurant off site. Therefore, it was not a big surprise. Staff made you feel welcome. They would Accommodate you when they could. Kids felt welcome. Played pool in game room and were given bars of candy at their request!

In terms of rooms, it was nice. However, stayed in a pet room as I had to bring a puppy with me. I am pretty sure these are different than most regular rooms and therefore cannot be fair about rating it. For instance, don't think they have carpet pads underneath carpet (for obvious reasons). Bathrooms should be the same and although very nice, I have seen nicer.

I would go back in a heartbeat. It was a really nice golf resort with excellent staff and service.

Weekend stay at the Ritz Carlton was excellent. Service was superb. Pool side service and drinks were fantastic. Room service was attentive and fast; we requested a crib and not only did they provided us with a crib but also with baby essentials (baby shampoo, lotion, etc). Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom very elegant with marble floors and counters. When we went to dinner and we came back to a freshly organized and restocked room and bathroom. Wonderful place to stay.

Rooms are dated with beds that are saggy....I guess catering to a bunch of golfers drives the inattention to detail that most Ritz Carltons are famous for. Service is Ok but restaurant (particularly Breakfast) is well below standards (spotty buffet cook, bad coffee/orange juice (this is Florida you know...real would be easy to obtain).

Fitness area is small (horrible SPA) but does have a couple of up-to-date Cardio units and pool area is good.

If you want to stay at a Ritz in Naples, try the one on the Gulf. Much better fitness/spa, restaurants, rooms, hotel condition).

Is a dog friendly hotel so add a star or two for dog owners that want to travel with their pet.

Room Tip: There is construction of condos in development..ask front desk to keep you away from that side. Sta...

Stayed two nights on a golfing vacation. Nice location, great golf course, and excellent service. The only negative was an elegant library with two pool tables. The pool table felt was greatly worn, with holes, and in need of replacement. Not sure why every other detail was catered to and perfect, but this one flaw really stood out. Will revisit soon.
