We selected this hotel as the only "nicer" property to accept a large dog we could find in the Naples area while traveling for business.
First I'll start with my very short list of drawbacks.
It's not on the beach (but they do offer a shuttle and free bicycles for the short ride down to the shore).
They didn't have a good option for breakfast. The only restaurant is Shula's steakhouse so you'd need to order room service. We overcame this by going out for breakfast and there were plenty of places to choose from close by.
Now, the things I liked.
The rooms, even just standard, which is your only option staying with a pet, are comfortable, spacious and nicely updated decor wise.
The entire property is very attractive from the grounds to the lobby and the limited, but nice outdoor areas.
We enjoyed the pool every evening after work and although it wasn't a huge pool, it was sufficient for the size of the property. Again, if you want food you'd need to order from a phone by the pool and they bring it out to you. No tiki bar, etc...... We really didn't see this as a problem though.
The staff was great from the front desk to the housekeepers.....everyone friendly. In fact, they thought we were joking about having a 3 legged dog but when we entered the lobby with him, they realized we weren't kidding. The front desk staffer rang the room, then came up to show us an alternative staff elevator we could use to get him downstairs for bathroom time. It was a great help so he didn't have to walk so far.
All the rooms are on the 2nd floor and higher.
I will point out, there was a big party going on for some young kids.....like, we encountered 40+ in the hallway, very loud and excited about their event. Some of them were even in the room next to us. Out in the hallway it was rocking and loud but when I closed the door to my room, I couldn't hear a peep.
The hotel is in a good and very central location. I felt like we could easily get to Old Naples to the south and up towards the newer developing areas to the north in just a couple of minutes.
I would have no hesitations staying at this property again
