Discover the wonders of South America featuring a Giant anteater, Cotton-top tamarins, and more. Get wildly close to the Malayan tigers at viewing windows. Naples Zoo is one of only four zoos in the nation to feature the fierce YouTube-favorites: African honey badgers. Plus discover rarely seen species including Malagasy fosas and 2 of less than 20 striped hyenas in the nation. Ask those questions you've always wondered about at the Meet the Keeper Series. Be fascinated by rare creatures during premier wildlife shows. Cruise through islands of monkeys, lemurs, and apes. Watch our professional staff hand-feed American alligators while dispelling popular myths. Snap great photos and learn the facts behind the fiction at a venomous snake talk. It's wild fun from apes to zebras. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a nonprofit organization cooperating in conservation programs both in and outside the wild for endangered species. The zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the organization that sets the highest standards for wildlife care, education, and conservation. The garden also holds accreditation by The Morton Register of Arboreta and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association.

“Half a day is enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

We visited in mid-August with 2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 children. We arrived at 10.30 and the place was very quiet. It cost about $80 incl tax total and that felt about the right price.
We enjoyed some very interesting "trolley" exhibits with very knowledgable staff, which my son loved. We fed the giraffes, but at $5 for 3 lettuce leaves, this felt grossly overpriced. The garden area is great with some good specimens of different trees. The highlight of the day for us was hearing the male lion roar. Properly roar! Apparently he is very vocal and it's not uncommon to hear /see this. We did see lots of animals and some enclosures felt a bit small, but on the whole it's not bad for a self-funded zoo. We spent about 4 hours there, partly due to the heat, but I'm not sure much longer would be needed at any time.

“Great little zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

If you want knowledgable staff who are dotted all around the zoo with little trolleys of exhibits that mean something to children, like the difference between horns and antlers and relate them to the animals in question then this is the place to go.
Feed a giraffe, yes actually feed one it will cost 5 dollars but everything you pay for is a direct donation to the upkeep as they are not funded by anyone. Small shows on throughout the day, very informative, our seven year old daughter loved the whole experience and we both learned a thing or two! Great experience and well worth the small outlay

“Small but attractive zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We enjoyed most of a day at this zoo. There are a number of shows and keeper-talks that added significantly to the day. There is a boat ride included in the admission. Tip: the lines for the boat ride are long early in the day but ease up as the day goes on. It's not a large zoo so don't expect a full-day event unless you stroll leisurely.

“Good Little City Zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

For it's size in the city of Naples, They definitely do the most with Least. Giraffe Feeding is fun, boat tour is informative, and the nature walk is beautiful for photography. Good One Day Trip!

“The Nicest Zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

It is clear that the animals are well loved and cared for here. They were awake and alert the entire very hot humid and sunny day. Zookeepers were interactive and as a result, we saw animals awake that were normally asleep! Not to be missed as part of your trip.
