“A Deli in name - NOT in Reality”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

What a sorry tourist trap this is - playing on the name of real delis up north to suck in the tourists. FORGET IT. It's a rip-off. These people have to visit New York or Philly and see what a real deli is supposed to be like - fresh, tasty, huge portions, and fresh rye bread is a must - get with it. You've lost our business cause you're not authentic like your name suggests.

“Traditional Deli”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

It is an average deli but over price. The atmosphere is very basic. It is nothing like the neighborhood delis in Chicago or New York. The food is good. The portions are large. The service is decent and the place is clean. There are not many deli options in Naples, so I will return.

“Good sandwich - but no chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We stopped here for a quick bite today for lunch - their tuna sandwich was very good and the whole wheat bread super fresh...but alas, no chips! You can get french fries and cole slaw for an additional $1.50...but what kind of a deli doesn't have little bags of chips?! Otherwise the sandwich was very tasty and fresh. Lots of other items on the menu look good too - so we'll be making another trip back soon, I'm sure.
Only negative comment had to do with their kind of lame brain service. it had been raining the morning of the afternoon we were there - we asked to sit at the oudoor tables (hadn't been raining for a few hours...). I never though to check the seating - assumed it would be dry...it wasn't - I got a very wet backside...when I mentioned it to the waiter, he just said "oh, well, I don't expect too many people to be sitting outside today" - he didn't apologize for the wet seat or offer a towel or anything...nor did he tell the hostess because about 5 minutes later a man was seated at the same table we had moved from - we were able to warn him just before he got his backside soaked! C'mon. Man! How difficult is it to wipe down the outside seating before you seat your patrons there! Really dumb, lame brain service...
But as I said the sandwich was good, so we'll be back - but probably on a sunny day! :)

“Very disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

We have had decent meals at this restaurant before but today's was dreadful. Brisket sandwich was dry and tasteless. Poached eggs were watery, as if they weren't drained before being placed in the bowl. Fried eggs were over-browned on the bottom. Two corned beef sandwiches ordered to go were a real disappointment because they were very fatty and stringy and tough, qualities that don't usually go together. This restaurant is fairly expensive, but that would be ok if the food justified the prices.

I don't know if they have new cooks or have just lowered their standards, but I'm unlikely to return after this experience.
