Owner description: Waterside Shops is Southwest Florida’s premiere shopping and dining destination where the finest names in luxury retail and fashionable lifestyle stores are set amid a lush landscape of 30,000 tropical plants and flowering shrubs, a 550-foot-long hand-laid rock wall punctuated by cascading water, and dramatic lighting features. Beverly Hills has Rodeo Drive, Palm Beach has Worth Avenue, and Naples has the Waterside Shops. The difference is that this is a shopping destination rather than a street, and within it are beautiful seating areas situated in view of artfully designed infinity-edge fountains, with outdoor bars and indoor-outdoor cafes. Thoughtfully, the developers arranged to include among Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Hermes, St. John, Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and an array of contemporary fashion boutiques such as Michael Kors, Max Azria, Lulu Lemon, and Juicy Couture. It’s not all fashion, though—Swarovski crystal, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Pottery Barn, Starbucks, Tumi luggage, Soma Intimates, Papyrus stationery and Barnes & Noble are also in the mix. The Waterside Shops' more than 60 shops and restaurants lets you indulge in the extraordinary while you delight in the everyday.

“Expensive, but worth a visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Need a mortgage to buy from there, but great restaurants and a real experience. Frequently have open air Fashion Shows open to the public.

“High End Shopping but has it ALL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

A "must go to" and peruse when in Naples shopping center. De Beers, Cartier, Gucci, Nordstroms, Sake's Fifth Avenue, "High-end" Specialty shops, Apple, and other great shops. The restaurants are all good too

It is not for the faint of heart or those with low credit limits. Some of the most exclusive shopping all with the expect high prices.

“Go for the fun of it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is a must stop every year for us. Christmas decorations are great and I've actually bought sale items in a few of the shops. The real fun here is window shopping. Unless you live in or near a big city, you aren't likely to get a chance to shop in some of these luxury stores. It's just a fun place to walk around, view the fountains, have a drink on an outside patio or eat in one of the several very good restaurants.

If it's not a beach day, make the day special and you might even find a bargain.

“High-end retail therapy, minutes from the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

You gotta love a place (Naples) where you can be sunning on the beach one minute, then browsing designer brands in a gorgeous shopping complex a few minutes later. Burberry, Cartier, Hermes, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kate Spade, Tiffany and a couple dozen other high-end specialty stores are found here, along with Saks and Nordstrom department stores. The shopping complex is open-air, with lovely fountains/water features and landscaping throughout. I particularly like the fact that while the brands sold here may be "snobby", the sales-staff at most of the stores are anything but. Feel free to visit here in super casual dress (shorts and flip flops are the norm), but bring buckets of money if you intend to buy.
