“Gone fishin'”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Hearty servings of seafood for those with a hearty appetite. I don't like fish but had fish and chips and the fish was very mild in flavor and very good. My husband had grilled shrimp on skewers that he enjoyed as well. Service was a little slow but restaurant was extremely busy the night we stopped to dine.

“Blah”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

I wasn't going to review this place, but I thought it was really bad. The oysters tasted old and funky. I know oysters are funky by definition, but these were junk. The fried fish was bland, to be kind. The batter was sweet? It had no flavor. Service was quite good, but the food wasn't.

“Good location, OK food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Ate here looking for a fresh seafood meal at the beginning of our trip. The place is neat- right within the Tin City complex and right on the Bay Marina. The food was just ok for the price. We had a great crab nacho app that was very good, but the fish tacos and crab legs were average at best for a place so near the ocean. We later saw the "fresh" seafood being brought in (another day) in sealed boxes from a frozen seafood distributor.
All in all, not a bad choice for a fun place but if you want fresh seafood you should look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I can suure you we are a local company that serves local seafood. The purveyor you saw is actually a company we own, Island Crab Company. They go out on our boats and fish and crab for us. But all our Snow crab etc does come from Alaska and is immediatly frozen on board etc. I do hope you come back agian and try some our Stone crab and Blue crab that come from our boats. Its best and freshest around. We love that we support our local economy. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.

“Good little place in a great location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is very much like a large seafood chain that rhymes with Flo's Crab Shack. But Pincher's is on a smaller scale and the food isn't quite as good. Decent food, reasonable prices, but you go to Pincher's because it's right on the water in Tin City. Lovely spot, and when you walk out back onto the boardwalk you are bombarded with fat and lazy Pelicans which I enjoyed. Family-friendly spot with paper on the tables for drawing for the little ones (and for cleanup too, I guess). ;)
