So we went on this tour because they offered a good deal through Groupon. They claim that you will see birds, alligator, dolphins and manatee's and we did just no alligators.. There is a boat driver and a young sweet girl that is sorta your tour guide. So as we started the tour we headed out to a cove so we could see manatee's. what you see is a shadow under the water - like a big beige animal under the water. You don't see there face or at least we didn't and we stayed there for awhile. We then head out towards the 10,000 islands and Panther's island (I think that is what it's called). So along our way we see some birds: blue Herron, white ibis and many, many Osprey. They also stop the boat to point out a few Osprey nests. We get to Panther island and we get off the boat and you get to walk around for about 10 minutes. Back on the boat and we are heading back. On the way back we do get graced with a dolphin playing and swimming in front of the boat. So here's my opinion / thoughts- it was a nice day, I'm glad I didn't have to pay full price - I would not have been happy, it's more educational about the water color changes and the agricultural that is growing out there than exciting. But, over all we had a nice day, it was a beautiful sunny day. If you are looking for a nice day out on a boat with the possibility of seeing some animals, learning about the Eco system then you will have a good time. If you are looking for a little excitement - you may be bored.
