I just had a flood in my home and with a baby and a 2 yr old I needed them out of the house asap! I drove over to this area nearby when there are multiple Hotels. I went into the 1st Hotel which was nice but wanted to check at least 1more. I called the Residence Inn and a nice woman named Christine answered. She was so nice and informative I decided right then THAT was where I was staying. I loaded the kids up and drove over.
On arrival Christine was at the front desk. Smiling, nice, and gave me the comfort I needed after watching my house go 3 inches underwater ruining too much to take. I might add it was on the day of my youngest sons 1st birthday and she even offered him an ice cream!
The room she upgraded me to was perfect. 2 seperate rooms and a full size kitchen. With a baby I'm always careful of things being clean and this room was. Very impressed.
The next morning there was a complimentary breakfast. I was thinking frootloops and coffee but was surprised to have eggs, ham, waffles and much more. This was very nice for the 2 kids.
I would highly recognize this hotel to anyone. There were no strange people hanging outside at night to where my husband actually felt safe for the kids and I to be there. The lobby seemed to be full of business men in the morning and a few people reading the paper chatting.
Will definately stay here again..hopefully under different circumstances.
