“Good, business style hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2010

We stayed in the Miramar after getting off a red-eye flight. The hotel was very accomodating and actually let us check-in far earlier than the normally registered time. The hotel is located off the I-75 freeway in a realtively commercial/business district. If you are without a car, it's pretty far from anything. But it made a nice escape from the hustle/bustle of Miami.

Rooms were well appointed, large with adequate space. refrigerator/microwave. The breakfast downstairs was free, not as nice as other places ... but adequate, there was eggs, meats, breads, muffins, cereals, etc. Wifi was included and fast. Hotel receptionists were slow but service was fine. Would recommend to this anyone needing a hotel in miramar.

We just completed a 5-day stay here. The room was large (included a couch, microwave and refrigerator in addition to a king-size bed). The bed was very comfortable...I slept better than I do at home. Free breakfast was served in a spacious room off the lobby, with eggs, waffles, fruit, bagels, cereal. The staff kept the food coming, even when we slept in a little later than normal. Everything was very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Coffee was available 24 hours/day. We came back late one evening and they had fresh cookies! Overall, a very nice place at a reasonable rate.

Beautiful room and fine breakfast. Nice front desk staff. Only complaint was every evening gathering of men drinking beer outside the main entrance. The management said they couldn't do anything about it.

It took seven or eight times to try to get in to the room. The keys were re-programmed numerous times without any success. If you can not get in to the room what good is the hotel???

I stayed at this particular hotel due to attending a jazz festival. I arrived that Friday from NC and stayed thru Monday. The rooms were neat & clean, staff friendly, and great breakfast selection. I usually stay at the Wingate chain due to the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, this hotel maintained the same standards. I would encourage anyone to stay due to economical value and the appearance of the rooms. This hotel gets a grade A from me and thanks for making my vacation an enjoyable one!

My husband and I stayed here while we attended Jazz in the Gardens at Dolphin Stadium. It is centrally located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and was only 9 miles from the stadium. There were a lot of restaurants and shopping areas close by. The hotel looked liked it had been renovated recently and the housekeeping staff kept the rooms very clean. I had a room with the king bed and sofa and it was very spacious. The staff and managers were very professional and helpful. The hot breakfast was also a good (eggs, sausage/bacon, bacon, waffles, fruit, juice and coffee. I checked other hotels in the surrounding areas...Pembroke Pines, Hallandale/Aventura and by far this one offered the best deal. With the discounts and promotions, it was between 120-175 dollars cheaper that the other hotels. If you a re looking for a clean hotel, that is centrally located this is your place!
