“Cheap but needs upgrading”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

We arrived after midnight after a sporting event and were staying only one night before driving back home the next morning. All we needed was a place to sleep and a shower in the morning. This hotel met that requirement. No more, no less. The neighborhood seemed a bit seedy but mostly industrial and there were other "budget" hotels in the area. As has been stated in other recent posts, the interior looks worn and is in need of replacement. The room was clean as was the bathroom although very bare. The bed was comfortable and the A/C wasn't loud - maybe because we were very tired and went right to sleep. Even though we were on the north side of the airport, we didn't really hear any aircraft noise. They offer a breakfast from 6 - 9 but we didn't even look at it so I can't review it fairly. We simply checked out and left for home.

Hotel was clean, desk staff exceptional, Carla, you need a raise! You needed to multi-task at the busiest time when 15 people were trying to check in & nailed it with no complaints, no evidence of stress to the guests waiting, & gave us all information we needed with a smile. The room was very clean & in working order. The hotel was also located near a lot of dining so we could walk. We didn't even notice the noise of the planes as it was across the street from the airport. Nice visit & will stay again! Note to the breakfast area women, please don't shut down the juices, coffee for the guests. Sometimes we are thirsty after a long day & would love a drink to refresh us & smile when you tell us you shut if down. Thank you

Some times its not always better to go cheap... this hotel needs updating badly. The carpets in the hall were horrible and definitely don't lend to a good first impression. The offer breakfast in the morning but it didn't start early enough for us to have before our 6:30 am flight home. Won't stay here again!

Hotel was clean and the service was fine. Airport pick up and drop off was fine also. Hotel room needed some maintenance. Shower stall had cracks and the shower door was needing replacement. If you don't have a car or rental there are really no nice places to eat nearby.

Flying by myself this vacation and having to overnight in Miami, old years night was not something I was looking forward to,since I was not accustomed to this airport... But it was soo simple to call the hotel on the huge touch screen phone to request the shuttle, which passed by about 10 mins after I made the call...The shuttle attendant was most courteous and helpful with my 5 bags :/
arriving at the hotel, even though it is 2 streets parallel to the airport...their was little airport noise on the outside and absolute silence inside...inside felt very homey , welcoming staff, FAST and SPEEDY check in, I was grateful for my ground floor room with my 5bags, room was impressive for the price I paid..
Room was well equipped with coffee, cream, sugar, water heating machine, cups, toiletries, hair dryer, ironing board, iron (heater), big flat screen tv, sufficient towels, pillows, blankets.
Coffee station, Juice station, breakfast was filling.
Their wasn't anything I could find wrong...it made me want to overnight their more often...I was truly sad to leave, I wish I could have missed my flight :D
Definitely a must do- longer stay - is required...

Dec 31st- Jan 1st night staff, thanks for making my lonely Old years night a little more bright!!!

We stayed for one night. Location is quiet and close to the airport which is convenient. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast but gets crowded. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable.
