We arrived at Miami Airport at 8 PM after an exhausting day of flight. We had chosen this hotel because it was close to the airport and had free shuttle service. Even though we called the hotel three times, only to be told the shuttle was "on its way", we waited nearly 2 hours for it - outside in the rain, heat and humidity. All the other major hotel brands came and left within 20 min of our arrival. Even the "other" Holiday Inn Express shuttle came by, but we were told we had to wait. The hotel itself was staffed by friendly people and did arrange for shuttle the next day to the cruise terminal, but that was for $20 per person fee.

I would not recommend this to any traveler planning on using their shuttle.

This hotel is very close to the airport and there is a 24 hour free shuttle both to and from the airport. When planning your trip to the airport from the hotel in the shuttle, pay attention to the advice to leave several hours ahead of your flight. Even though the airport is close by, there is very heavy traffic and it takes the shuttle some time to navigate through the traffic to reach your departure terminal. This hotel is comfortable and has excellent sleeping accommodations. Without a car, you are steps away from a sports bar/restaurant and a 24 hour IHOP. The hotel offers a suitable hot breakfast buffet each morning as well. This is an excellent choice if you need to stay very close to Miami International Airport.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, on the way to and back from the Everglades. It was very close to the airport, which was the most important factor for us. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant, the price not too bad for Miami.

I stayed here when traveling on business. The rooms are fine for what the place is, The price was not bad and it is VERY close to the airport. Free WiFi and breakfast so it's ok. The photos make it look better than it is from the outside but it is secure and there are several places to eat or have a beer within walking distance.

The staff were ok until I had a problem. Arriving there after dark and driving through very bad weather, I left my rental car lights on - next day flat battery. I thought they might have some jumper cables - now I know this is not an advertised service but hey not like it would cost them a lot of money to have a set handy. .... They did direct me to their passing maintenance guy but he spoke not one word of English. You'd think they would know this.

Even in a budget chain they should think about the customer. Hampton Inns tend to be better at that but I did not have a choice this time. Don't think I would stay in this location again. But there are multiple H.I. nearby if you have to use that chain. Some are better than others.
