“Sushi and more....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

This is the 3rd all you can eat sushi place I've been to and I have to say this one on atmosphere and cleanliness have the others beat.

They have a generous selection of sushi and sashimi. Along with some regulars like crab rangoons, egg rolls, egg drop soup. Definitely worth the $18.

Give it a try.

“Expected more food variety”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012 via mobile

Not as good as Shinju...where they provide more food variety....but on a Saturday night Tamura had no wait lines...which is sometimes a problem at Shinju. At Tamura, Food tasted fresh...but sauces are very spicey...intentionally I suspect, so order lots of water. I was not impressed with this place and would rather drive to Sunny Isles or Pembroke Pines for better Japanese food. Location is nice if you want to walk or shop afterwards....but Main Street needs to liven the atmosphere if they want people to return....not like it used to be...

“Excellent food, nice athmosphere, reasonable prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Amazing what kind of food they offer for just 18 $ per person. There was a generous colection of Sushi, Sashimi, various hot meals and a desert buffet. The interior design and the athmosphere is nice with gentle background music. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Congratulations!

“Sushi on Main Street”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

For sushi and sashimi lovers Tamura is the place to go. Food is fresh and plenty. Those who don’t like eating raw fish can choose from a wide selection of cooked and grilled dishes. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service is very good. Grand opening was just a few weeks ago. Only time, will tell whether they consistently keep their high standards. My only suggestion at this time is that it would be nice if at the end of the meal they brought moist towelettes to the table.

“The is a major buffet of food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This is a brand new place only open a few weeks -- spotlessly clean and organized just as you would expect a Japanese restaurant to be. The choices are endless if you like sushi and sashimi and Japanese food. There is also a hot buffet of assorted items as well as a section that cooks seafood combinations to order -- stir fry things. The raw bar has raw oysters on weekends (but think they were previously frozen -- many of them I ate were icy and you don't get that with fresh raw oysters even if they sit on top of shaved ice). The price is reasonable for what you get (absolutely everything except beer and wine) -- $18.95 on weekends. The chairs are a bit low at the tables and the booths -- I know that sounds picky but if you have to get up a 100 times to hit the buffet, it's a bit annoying. The fish looks very good and I ate plenty -- enjoyed every bit of it. The stir fry station closed a bit early so didn't get to try that. Would I go back? Absolutely! Where else would you get a complete seafood meal for less than $20?? Never ran out of anything and the buffet was constantly updated as needed. I just can't figure out how they do it for that price?? Dessert is included also!
