Just came back from this Hotel on November 14th. Spent 2 nights there and attended a Dolphins Football Game. The Hotel itself is a little run down, but you can see they are making improvements. We stayed on the third floor which has balconies and 2 double beds with a fridge. These are the suites and the nice thing about them are that you can only access this floor if you have a room key for that floor. When you get on the elevator you must insert your room key into the room grid and it will automatically take you to the 3rd floor. Pretty Nice.
The one thing that we found confusing was the directions to our room. We were told to go out the front door and follow the road around to the back and park there. We followed the road to the back and we ended up on the same street that we came in on. We tried again and we ended up in another condominium project. We got back to the hotel again and asked a security guard and he gave us the same directions?? We gave it one more try and ended up in a parking lot still confused until we saw a couple of guys and asked if they knew were to go and they said we are here.Ask the hotel clerk to actually show you as we wasted a half an hour trying to find the parking lot. There are lots of condo's around there and many of the lots inter mingle so be careful when looking for the back lot.
Tried the steak house but not the 48 oz. steak( that is right they have a 48 oz. steak if you want). The food was great and with the third floor suite a free breakfast is included for each day you stay there.
If you are looking for something to do there, there is nothing in the form of entertainment except the T.V. in the sports bar. We walked to the main street and found a nice sports bar to watch T.V. and mingle with the locals.
Overall it was a good experience, the room was nice, the food was good and the service personnel were pleasant. We were pleased with the experience. Only thing was that after Sunday the place was pretty quite as all the fans of both clubs had left.
