We needed a place to sleep for a few hours. We got in late and left before check out time. This is all it was - a place to rest. The price was much lower than anyplace close. The room was very worn but the sheets were clean and the water hot. We had two double beds and one had a broken box spring but we got in at midnight - I slept like a rock for six hours.

Do not eat in the dining room. It was the poorest quality food and service at a ridiculous price. Just around the corner (north) there are many local cafes serving columbian/cuban/latino foods at great local prices. I had the best cafe latte I've ever taste at one of these - sorry I didn't catch the name. If you prefer a more tourist-polished experience, go across the street towards the Port of Miami to the Bayside Mall. There are lots of shops and a food court.

Hard to recommend this place but it serves a purpose in it's location (close to the Port of Miami) and it's price ($69/night.)

My Family and i stayed at this place that should not even be called a HOTEL...we arrived late in the night and left as early as possible...we had to go and buy sheets and towels because the room was soo filthy. This place is in such a good location to have it the way they do..please for your own hygiene, do not stay here. If there was a zero (0) for rating this hotel i would put that instead..and a HELL no i don't recommend it...The Air Conditioner decided to stop working after 1 hour of being on, it was so warm in the room. The plumbing in the hotel has to be the worst i've ever seen or heard..we could have heard the other guests in their own bathrooms..it was terrible..

We arrived there at 1:30am for a few hours sleep before our cruise. We were so exhausted that my husband pushed for us to stay in the room until morning. I had to cover the pillows with the towels provided. The walls, carpet and bathroom was filthy. I would not have given the blanket on the bed to the local pet shelter because it was so threadbare. I slept with my clothes on waking every hour to see if I was covered in bed bugs. Another couple told us they stripped the bed and covered them with the towels. Like us they slept? in their clothes. there is not even a glass in the room never mind soap etc. All kinds of weird characters were hanging about in the hotel and we did not feel safe. This hotel should be closed down for health reasons before someone gets really sick. Do not go there unless you are start raving mad!!!

Our room had wallpaper pealing from the walls and there were black dirty smears on the painted areas of the walls. There were no glasses or cups, no wash clothes, no soap in our rooms. We had to ask for these down at the front desk. The beds sagged in the middle.
