“Luxury at its BEST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2010

Our stay at Eden Roc was amazing! When we first arrived, we were greeted by the doormen. The desk attendant was extremely nice and she even let us choose what floor we wanted to stay on. She suggested a high floor because the views were amazing so thats what we chose!

We had a late flight so we checked in around twelve midnight (they will hold your reservation till 4am). Our room was stunning! We loved the long hallway that leads to the bedroom. The shower and jetted tub were so nice, especially the view of the ocean while bathing. The rooms are right there on the ocean so you can leave your floor to ceiling sliding doors open for sounds of relaxing waves to help put you to sleep. When you awake, the view of the ocean from your bed is definitely a treat.

Dining:
The lobby bar is a nice circular bar with plenty of decorative unique seating all around.
The Cabana Beach Club bar was also nice. We had most of our meals there. One of the waitresses, Hannah, was very kind. We said we wanted to split a meal and she split the meal for us and gave us extra so we each had enough. They have really good Happy Hour specials as well. The pools were amazing! The view from the pool grounds to the beach was stunning! Unfortunately, we did not get to check out the italian restaurant Gia, but I am sure it is just as nice as the other dining options inside the hotel. Both Thursday and Friday nights, we ordered room service and we ordered the buffalo wings and they were oh so good! For 18 dollars they are so worth it and there are not that many restaurants near the hotel that are open at 4am.

Location:
South Beach is about 10 dollars away, give or take, depending on how your taxi cab driver drives. It is definitely worth staying at this resort and traveling to South Beach when need be. The resort has taxis waiting for you and whenever you are ready to ride, let the doorman know and they will signal the taxi for you; its actually quite impressive :) The resort is also next door to Fountainbleau Resort where you can walk about 3 minutes to have drinks, dine, party, or play and that is a plus!

All in all, this was my favorite stay in Miami. I have been 2 other times this year and the stay at Eden Roc has helped this trip top the rest! I look forward to staying at the Eden Roc again and cannot wait to go back!

Great luxurious hotel directly at the beach. Very elegant. We stayed in December 2009 for 4 nights and had nice room with a balcony and a beach view. The service was excellent, we really enjoyed the several pools and the beach. Parking is of course expensive but the staff was really nice and helpful.

Breakfast and dining possibilities were good, so that I would really recommend the hotel!

The lobby of this hotel is quite stunning. Our room, though considered "standard" was classy with a great view of all 3 pools and the ocean! Loved the decor of this hotel. Much more modern than your average run of the mill hotel. The prices of pool side drinks were a bit pricey but they run great happy hour specials. Loved that there are 3 pools to choose from. Great walkway to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had stayed here before in 2004 and wanted to go back. We stayed in room 1246 and it was fantastic view of the ocean from the room and the king size bed was in the middle of the room which is a new thing and the TV was right next to the windows which allows you to watch the ocean and the beach while keeping up with your TV shows (something we couldnt do at fontainebleau, its either TV or balcony).

The balcony doors are floor to ceiling and open up about 6 feet and the balcony railing is also glass which allows you to see the ocean and the beach while sitting on the couch.

The room had a 2/3 person couch, wide table to eat, coffeemaker and a fridge which is awesome in Miami.

They have maid service at 6pm-9pm which is great so you can sleep in and have them clean the room while you are out for dinner.

We were first disappointed in the major pool downgrades in how they split up the nice pool (see older pictures) with spitting fountains to two motel 6 looking simple smaller pools. But thank god they didn't destroy the pool with the windows in the bar below.

This hotel is AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful!! I loved the shower the jacuzzi was amazing and the beds were very very comfy. One draw back is that we didnt realize the wall seperating the room from the balcony could slide all the way into the main wall making it completely open! Meaning that once you slid these doors into the wall the balcony was nothing but another part of your room. That actually isnt even a draw back but they couldv'e showed us that I guess.

Next time I'm in Miami Eden Roc it is!

stayed in Eden Roc from 05 to 09; overall, i think this hotel is overated. got a room in old tower which has absolutely no view and is apperently aged on some details although it is still clean. They have another new tower which looks much better & modern and every room has at least partial ocean view and its own balcony. Four poors (one adult only) are all decent and clean with plenty of chairs & umbrellas.

Stayed there for four nights and encountered two false fire alarm two nights in a row( one was at 3 am); Staffs are nice and helpful.

They charge 15 dollars for a cocktail ordered by the pool, $10 for a beach chair, and $15 for beach umbrella ( plus18 or 20% mandatory tips). Charged me two bottles of water in the room that i didn't even touch but removed it with a fuss.

Parking is relatively convenient since there is a public parking lot right by the hotel. $1 per hour from 8am to 6 pm but you have to wake up before 8am to feed meter to avoid ticket . I heard that they charge overnight parking fee (fri sat sun) on weekend from 6 or 8 pm to 8 am and i did saw them charging $18 on sunday night but when i came back at around 1 am there was no one standing at entrance charging $$ ; maybe it was because of the pouring rain so they went home earlier.

location is OK since Miami beach is so small(but there is no store nearby). Hotel is located on 46th St by the beach which is less than 10 mins (driving) away from most popular area: lincoln road and ocean drive below 15th ST.
