“Great location. Premium price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

Great location. Front desk service was so-so given +370 a night. Lobby bar spectacular. Would come here to dine just to be served by John M and Jamie. Super respectful and attentive.

Getting checked in is like getting into a club. Lucky to be here. All other facets top notch

When booking here, make sure you clarify wether you are getting a room in then newer Ocean Tower, or the older Legendary tower. Both towers have been remodeled. I prefer the newer tower myself but do believe they charge more.

Upon arrival our rooms weren't ready until 5:30 PM. They don't suggest or direct you to have a seat in the lounge, etc. You have to pull teeth to get info out of reception area. Bell boys were more helpful. The lobby is beautiful, late 50s 60s theme. The rooms are another story. If you like that look back in that era then it maybe OK. Our bed was comfy but furniture was cheap and trashed. Our coffee tables had rust on them. Sofa stained. Dresser drawers all chipped. Lamp shade torn in many places. We had a suite so it was nice and roomy.

The view was spectacular. Nice big balcony with very NASTY patio furniture. Stained and worn out. The bathroom was beautiful except for the BLACK MOLD in the shower. Their was also black mold by the a/c filter which was dirty.

Their coffee maker is pathetic! One cup at a time and did I mention, they forget to leave coffee in the room. Called in morning, 1.5 hours later still no coffee so went down to Starbucks in lobby. Made me feel like they would rather you get your coffee at Starbucks. The next day they only left one coffee packet for two people. The hotel doesn't have a welcoming feel to it. I wanted to give it 3 stars but just couldn't bring myself to it considering its suppose to be a classy place.

I hate leaving such a poor rating but felt I would be lying to myself if I didn't. Maybe it was jut the coffee and the mold that turned me off. If the rooms ran 100 less a night, then I would give it 3 stars. I have pictures that will follow of mold and damaged furniture.

We had never stayed at the Eden Roc but will surely be back. Wasn't aware of the Hollywood Movie Star Glamour of the 50s and 60s that took place at the hotel. Think Liz Taylor, Nat King Cole, Sinatra, etc.all stayed there when in Miami Beach! BUT, it's an updated, modern hotel--not too big, not too small and classy. Smoke-free hotel (yeah!) Glamourous lobby bar and excellent fine-dining, "15 Steps" gourmet restaurant. Friendly, professional staff, all of whom we encountered, took great pride in the hotel. Our corner room with balcony and view of the ocean was contemporary/chic and the bathroom with large walk-in shower was splendid. The room so quiet. Rooms and hotel spotless. As near to the beach/ocean as a hotel can be. Four pools (one for adults only) They have beach service for drinks and food along with lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas. We wanted to be close to South Beach without contending with the 24/7 noise and congestion of the historic area and the Eden Roc is only a short cab ride away. The only area I think needs some work is the service for the outside restaurant and bar situated below or near the adult pool. Good food but the breakfast service was slow two days in a row (understaffed, I thought) and the bar did get a little crazy and loud at times with younger hotel guests (they should have gone to South Beach). While I don't want to portray the hotel as stiff and snobby, it is a classy place and good manners go a long way. Treat the dame with respect and she'll show you a really good time. And Eden Roc, you sure lived up to your fine reputation! A grand hotel today, on the famed Miami Beach. Thank you to all for a very fine time!

Room Tip: Get a room with ocean view and if possible, a suite with a corner balcony. Wasn't much in upgra...

Stayed here again for the 2014 Boat Show, and it felt like i was returning home. The place is always packed the week of the boat show. Everything is popping !!! Lots of people everywhere. The staff all did an amazing job keeping the place 1st class. The Lobby bar is always a great place to hang out for a cocktail and snack. The fitness center had plenty of machines for the morning work out, or you can walk/jog along the Miami beach boardwalk....plenty of people doing the same thing. This place has 3 awesome pools, with service at your lounge chair, for plenty of sun and fun all day. In addition to the lobby bar, there are 2 other restaurants and a Starbucks in the hotel. Room service was timely and good. There are 2 "towers", you definitely want to be in the newer one, on the south side of the property. As you can see from the pic posted with this review, the room and view were amazing. Bedding was awesome and room was immaculate. I have stayed here many times and it never dissapoints. If this review helps your planning, please leave me a helpful vote......ENJOY

Room Tip: South tower, high floor is best

Eden Roc was a fabulous venue for a three-day conference, providing excellent service, food and amenities. Outdoor dining was an added perk when the weather was nice, and evening networking events had the perfect poolside ambiance.

Stayed Eden Roc 27 Feb- 5 Mar. Overall, a great hotel that needs up-dating! Hotel was very clean and public areas were spacious. Our room was large, but we had no view and no balcony. Our bathroom was very big, but we had a shower (very good, though), no bath. The staff were polite and helpful. We had a great time here!

Room Tip: The hotel is not cheap! If you want to pay more than we did, you should get a room with a view of th...

The hotel is big and right on the beach. Recently renovated, the hotel rooms are nice, especially those with the ocean view (if you request and pay). There is a large shower and tub room and a separate toilet room. You can open the "back" of the shower/tub room in order to see the view. I arrived at 2 pm. The room was not ready. I returned at four for check in but the room was room still not ready until after 5 o'clock Very annoying since there was nowhere to change. The bellhop only found one of my two bags and I found the second together with someone else's bag. There are five lovely pools and you can walk right unto the beach.
