Although, the location is awesome, on the downside the wifi in the hotel was only working in the lobby. Very inconvenient. The reseption staff was not as friendly as I am used to. But they were helpful when asked, and that is what counts :) When we got the room, I saw a dead spider on bathroom wall... And the cleaning personal was greedy for toilet paper LOL even after we asked for it :D But the real problem was the sound - could be that our room was not the best, or the fact that the building is old, but the sound isolation there is very poor. Could very well hear people walking in the hall and above us.
But anyways, I don't regret staying in this hotel. Location beats all the minuses. It is just across the road from the beach, few minutes walk from any places of interest and shops in the area.

Although the room was not a bad size and nicely decorated, the view from the window was disgusting - we were looking straight at the window of the restaurant next door 6 feet away and also and a rusty ventilator fan (photo attached). We stayed at the hotel for two nights and our bed was never made up properly.

Wifi only works in the lobby area. No wifi in our room. It is a big minus for me as wifi was an important option when choosing a hotel. Location is great though! Rooms furnished from IKEA :-D Staff isn't very helpful. Will see if the other shift is better.

The staff was friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. Harold provided great dining, shopping and other recommendations. The room was modern, clean and offered an amazing ocean view and Jacuzzi hot tub. This hotel is located right in the heart of South Beach and you can access so much. We loved the rental bikes along the beach path!
