Recently arrived on referral by a friend,
Told I will feel right at home,

boy, was she right,

I suggest all travelers seeking safety, comfort, and a very friendly front desk staff,
try the Shelbourne Miami Beach.

Oh, and they just opened for dinner,

and I don't know how the French waiter whose name escapes me at the moment,
got me to try sushi, raw tuna, after I just consumed a great skirt steak, without any fat on it,

one last thing,

the front desk staff and valet,

valet has a lot of traffic to deal with,
so, call down for yur car first,
and always know your tag number,

I also liked all the bellmen,
they don't stop being friendly, or smile,

then there is Gabriel at the front desk.
great personality,
and even sweeter when she speaks Spanish, so eloquently,

We came for two weeks,
it is now 4,

should I continue?

This hotel is in a GREAT location!!! We had a renovated modern room with a balcony, super clean and spacious! The staff was great...Ronaldo the bellman, Vicki at the concierge and girl who attends poolside cabana made weekend PERFECT!!! will definietly stay here again...

we were staying in a private apartment within the hotel so cant really comment on 'hotel rooms' but never-the-less; the concierge, Raphael, on reception was truly amazing! he was extremely helpful and nothing we asked seem 'too much' for him, thanks for making the trip run so smoothly mate!
That goes for the rest of the hotel/reception team too, very friendly and helpful so thanks guys. cheers!

Had so much fun here! Great mix of the pool and the beach just a short walk away. Rooms were very clean and cozy, staff was friendly, and front desk was very helpful when we had questions about where to go! It was just an amazing vacation all around with the thunderstorms, sunny skies, taking fun walks around Miami etc....
