Recently ate breakfast here. Food was fresh (much more than News cafe), and the portions were big. The small bowl of fruit with granola and yogurt was so large that my wife and I could have split just that for breakfast! My omlette (California, if I remember right), was fresh and delicious. On the down side the coffee wasn;t that strong. Overall one of the better places to grab breafast on South Beach. Make sure to sit outside and watch the people go by.

Was in South Beach for the Wine and Food Festival this past weekend. Wanted to grab a small bite between Emeril and Rachael Ray's shows. Had heard really good things about this cafe; however, when we arrived no one wanted to wait on us. There were several empty tables, but it seemed like there was no host/hostess. Asked a waiter about being seated, and he informed me there was someone outside seating people. Another couple was standing waiting for someone to decide to seat them. We never saw anyone...Went a block or so down to Finnegans. The hostess there was really nice and seated us right away. Great service from our waitress. Highly suggest Finnegans due to quick/friendly service!!!

Front Porch Cafe is the best spot for breakfast. If you're a fan of french toast then you MUST try it when dining at Front Porch. It's the ABSOLUTE best! It's seasoned with orange zing or something. To DIE for! Great omelette's and pancakes too! When in SoBe my husband and I have breakfast here most days! Def worth a try. Reasonably priced (for SoBe).

We read about this place in the Lonely Planet guidebook and they highly recommended it for breakfast, and they were not wrong! Tons of great food for a decent price (especially by Miami standards). Don't pass this up while in Miami Beach.
