The room was excellent ! The pool is a sight worth a million words. Feels like paradise :) It's perfect for vacation with friends. I recommend it for those looking for fun and adventure on their first time to South Beach.

The hotel is closed for the final round of renovations but I was shocked at the price tag to stay when the hotel was under such loud, massive destruction. Like, workers in your window intrusions. But the hotel closed shortly after our stay and after hearing the plans, I'm sure the hotel will be re-open with a bang. Even under the pressure of ever-continuing complaints, the staff was really, really great.

I loved this hotel, the decor is very modern and cool. The rooms are extremely spacious and modern. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathrooms were beautiful. The pool is awesome and the hotel backs onto South Beach. The rooftop pool and bar are fantastic, the view is simply amazing by day and night. The hotel is in walking distance to the downtown area with shops and restaurants and within walking distance to loads of bars and clubs. The aquarium in the lobby is very cool. The staff were friendly and the room service was great. I cannot fault this hotel and if I get to go to Miami again I will definitely stay at the Perry!

Perry was under construction when we stayed - which would have been nice to know when we reserved the rooms. The rooms and common areas where like a warzone. The hotel should have been closed.

The real issue was the fraudulant room service charge on my debit card pulling over $400 dollars out of my account. 2 Months later they admit it was there mistake....after them telling me it was my charge and there was nothing they could do since it was on the bill.

Needless to say I am dissapointed that a "4" star hotel treats there guests like this.

The staff was nice and welcoming upon check-in. The hotel is very chic with the decor and music in the lobby along with the huge fish aquarium. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and very nice! One rainy afternoon we took advantage of ordering a first rate movie in our room. The black out curtains, and couch provided a movie theater experience in our room. I had business to conduct during the stay and the business center was exceptional. Plenty of computers so I didn't have to wait and the staff was helpful in scanning documents for me. The swimming pools are very nice and the beach is only a short walk away. Fortunately for us the construction noise did not bother us! The location from the Ocean Drive "strip" was my only downside to the hotel, however if you like to exercise it's a nice walk.

At this point, The Perry has already shut down. Being there this past weekend, it wasn't awful but it shouldn't have costed more than $200 per night, tops. We were lucky enough not to be awaken with construction but there was construction dirt everywhere. We made due of it because it was only a couple of days and we knew about the renovations which a lot of people did not. Yes, some of the staff could care less -and you know what - I don't blame them. I wonder why they even showed up to work! And some of the staff were great. I feel bad for the ones that were because they are under the impression that they are bring rehired once renovations are complete A YEAR from now, which is not the case. I blame the owners/management company. The hotel should have been shut down a while ago or they should have closed before renovations. The Greedy owners have made me not want to return when they reopen no matter how nice or "cool" of a place it will be.

First of all-it's unacceptable that the hotel does not inform the guests that there's some serious construction around the hotel. Depends how much you're able to tolerate.. We haven't been sleeping very long cause we were so excited to see the city, so a wake up around 9:00 wasn't the biggest disaster. One big minus-the balcony was out of order-cause of the construction of course. Apart of all that the hotel is really nice, lovely lobby, clean and specious rooms. And something that would tempt us for sure to visit this hotel again - the rooftop pool party.. Something you'll remember for a loooong time :)
