“Fabulous Romantic Getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

This boutique hotel surpassed my high expectations. We came here for our 15th year wedding anniversary, and it was perfect! The special details - like daily notes/weather, rose petals, etc. help to set this hotel apart from others. The location was ideal and much quiter than Ocean Blvd. The hotel staff was more than helpful and friendly. The room was very unique with a spiral staircase, private entrance, and a jacuzzi on the patio (an added bonus). We would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you to Angler's for making this our most memorable trip yet.

Room Tip: We were on the ground level, closest to the street; and it was still very private and quiet.

We just left The Anglers and we had a wonderful experience. Nice big rooms with a lot of space. Service is perfect and they clean the room also in the evening. In two blocks there's a beautiful beach. It's a nice place close to everything but silent to sleep well. In 100 meters you'll find all the bus stops to go to the airport and everywhere in Miami Beach. Go and enjoy The Anglers and Miami.

After much on-line searching on where to stay during my first trip to Miami Beach, I was extremely pleased to have Angler's Boutique Resort live up to the high ratings others had given it. It is indeed an oasis in the midst of the excitement that South Beach has to offer. Only two blocks from the frenetic action, it provides a quiet, Mediterranean setting for relaxing, getting away from the heat, recovering from too much partying, or enjoying a romantic dinner. It has a very intimate lounge setting frequented by locals, so one can mingle with folks who are not tourists, and learn where the best spots are to dine or party. Service is first rate but understated, so one feels support is at hand any time. Highly recommended.

The Angler's Boutique Resort Hotel really is an oasis in the South Beach Area. It is decorated beautifully, and the restaurant and bar are unique and intimate. The rooms were very quiet at night, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the in-room check in, a really nice idea so you don't have to wait at the desk. The only unattractive part of the room was the entrance, as we overlooked a vacant parking lot. We may have received this room because there was three of us, and we wanted a sofa bed for the third person.

This is our second stay at the anglers. I'm sitting in their lounge waiting out a little Miami rain so I thought I'd do another review. You can look back for my first review from two years ago.

Everything is relaxed and easy here. When we booked we requested the room we had the previuos stay since we liked it so much. They couldn't guarantee it of course but said they would try their best and they did. We got the exact room we requested.

It even feels like they polished up a few of their rough edges since we were last here. We'll keep coming back. You can beat the staff, rooms, grounds and location.

Stayed here on our arrival day in the US and also the night before our departure - first room was a two-floor room with spiral staircase, second room was on the ground floor near the pool.

It's a good location (short walk to the beach), and the property seemed well kept and certainly everything worked well in both the rooms we had. Not sure why the second room (which cost more) was so much smaller than the first room, but maybe they upgraded that first room so no complaints.

Good outdoor dining space, nice breakfasts both times.

My only gripe is that any European visitors staying here on their first night in the US will likely - as we did - wake up the next morning very early - 5am in our case. Coffee is then very much needed, but unless we read things wrong we had to wait until 7am to be able to order cofee - and there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

The in-room check in on our first night was also strange - you get taken to the room, then the person said they'd be back in 10 minutes to finish check-in. No one arrived (I'd not expected them to) so we walked down ourselves - I reckon this is a waste of resource, and all should be done at the front desk.

Also, there is a bit of street noise on Washington Avenue until 3am which isn't a problem if windows are closed and AC used.

Minor things though - we very much liked the hotel, and would stay there again.
