I live in Miami Beach, and am often asked by out of town friends and visitors where to go aside from the usual places. WEAM is a dream of a place that is right in the heart of South Beach, but not obvious since it is located on a second floor. The collection of art is truly surprising and although the theme is erotica, it is not what you may expect. The sculptures, the furniture and the bric-a-brac are all very special, worth a lot, and worth a look! You will not come across a collection like this anywhere else in the world ( I believe). It includes Art Deco pieces by Icart as well as funky whimsical antiques that will give you a laugh...the huge sculpture of a penis --the original from Clockwork Orange will greet you from the start...but you will discover a lot more of very valuable art that will make you want to stay far longer than you planned! This museum is like nothing you'll ever see! The incredible erotic art that spans hundreds of years, and encompasses many countries, cultures, and artists is absolutely fascinating. It's also fascinating to see that legendary masters such as Rembrandt and Picasso created erotic art. When visiting Miami Beach, this is a MUST see. And if you're lucky enough to meet the owner, Naomi Wilzig, while you're there, that will add to your extraordinary experience!

This was actually very interesting...seeing how people long ago worshiped and interpreted reproduction...pretty cool!
