“Old but very well maintained”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We got in an hour earlier than check in time but they had our room ready. We requested extra pillows and towels they were already in the room. Everything is dated but clean working and right across from them beach. Rooms have flat screen tvs mini fridge microwaves coffee maker and sinks. More like an efficiency apartment. Pool in center courtyard was a good size and clean. Reasonable pricing and friendly helpful staff says we will be back here again.

The motel is very closed to the beach and this is the reason I chose it. It is an average motel that would need some renovation. Every room offers a kitchenette so you can prepare breakfast by yourself because no facilities are at a walking distance (or at least I did not find any!). I was there in the first days of the year and I found it a bit too expensive with a low value for money. The water in the swimming pool was really hot so I could not dive! The location is good not only for the beach but also to see Miami.

Room Tip: better upstairs room

The hotel itself is old, but it's not bad at all. Stayed in room 208 and the a/c is in desperate need of replacement. I'm assuming the a/c units in all the rooms are old as well?
The location is excellent if you want to walk to the beach. Just a short walk through a park and you are at the beach. The beach is definitely a hidden gem. It was really nice watching multiple fireworks displays from the beach in either direction.
People at the front desk of the hotel are very nice. Definitely places to eat nearby. You can walk several blocks and have food options. If you're into sushi, may I also recommend Sushi Republic!
I would stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The outside area was very clean. The staff were kind. As many people already stated, the hotel is very outdated. To me the surrounding hotels were very shady. I was a little apprehensive about walking around at night. The inside of the room was standard. It had a small fridge and desk. The mirrors are horrible and hard to reach. The floor was filthy. The beach was nearly a block away and there are shops and restaurants only a few blocks away from the hotel. It was worth it being so inexpensive and so excess able to Surfside beach.

Note: If you are looking for a party area, this is not it. This is more of a family friendly area. South beach is kind of far from this area.

Prefect for the beach. A few blocks and you're there. Hotel is normal and clean. Right price. A little old. Bus stop around the corner. Park right next to the beach. Enough parking space for free. Free Internet.

We stayed there for just one night so there aren't many things to say. From what I noticed it was clean, spacious, free wifi and really close to the beach. I didn't really care that it far from south beach or there weren't any shops around near. We wanted a room for just one night and it was perfect for us.

was happy with the hotel, the staff and the location on Harding Avenue. It was easy to find and to drive from. My room was large with a separate shower room, a kitchenette with microwave and coffee maker. The dressing area had a safe. The pool area looked nice but I didn't have the opportunity to use the pool during my visit. The wifi had good reception in the room. The hotel is quite a way north of South Beach but as I had hired a car, I didn't mind. There were a lot of shops within an easy drive at Surfside. I would return to the hotel if visiting the area again
