The sum of our stay is pretty much in the review title. We spent one night at Suites on South Beach in January 2013. The room we received was spacious and clean. The kitchen area was a nice bonus, so if you are staying for a few nights it will be really convenient. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or tea bags.
Some reviewers below metions the noise at night from the street but we didn't notice it because the a/c in our room was always on and slight noise from it blocked whatever noise could have been coming from the outside.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got a great suggestion from Kevin for a place to eat just a couple of blocks away. Since we got to the hotel a few hours before the room was available we could leave our bags, change in the bathroom in our bathing suites and hit the beach.
All in all, we had a great experience at this place.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights before going on a cruise. We have been in South Beach a few times before and stayed in different hotels, but so far we liked Suites on SB best! The location is great on Collins Ave., just one block away from Ocean Drive. Our room was nice and clean, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with fridge and ice-maker. There was a bit of noise from the airco outside, but it didn't bother us too much. If you don't need high luxery in South Beach, but just a decent, clean and affordable room, than Suites on South Beach is the perfect place!!

We spent one night in South Beach, and stayed at Suites because their sister hotel, the Kent, was sold out. We had an actual suite, with a nice-sized living room, kitchen, and bedroom. It was right on Collins, and I was worried that it would be noisy on a Friday night, but it turned out to be quiet, and really comfortable. I have to say that the best thing about this place is the staff - very friendly and helpful. My only complaint, if I have one, is that the TV remote didn't work in our room, but I'm pretty sure that would have been taken care of if I'd complained. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm ever in South Beach.

This hotel is a hidden jewel on South Beach. The rooms are over-sized, nice and clean. Lots of closet space. Kitchenette with standard size fridge and micro-wave. Kevin and Frank, who work at the hotel are "AWESOME!" My family and I stayed here for New Year's eve and we will stay at this hotel again without any hesitations. TRUST ME, U WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU STAY HERE!
