My wife and I visited this restaurant by chance, recommended by the hotel's concierge. The place was packed on a saturday night but given that we got there around 10pm, people were already leaving and we managed to get seated without having a reservation.
The service was exceptional, the food arrived fast and servers were very attentive (taking your order, recommendations, refilling the wine glasses, water, etc). The maitre'd is paricuarly friendly always with a quick joke and a big smile.
The food was excellent. I had a half order of the rigatoni amatriciana which came with a delicious sacue and nice chuncks of pancetta and also had the filet mignon and was very surprised at how tender the meat was. My wife really enjoyed her pasta with lobster sauce and chunks.
Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.
The only negative, though at the end of the day it's worth it, is that it is a pricey meal for a traditional italian dinner.
