Consistently excellent food; great service and very pleasant personnel. Locals eat here repeatedly. A comfortable dining experience.

“Simple food well prepared”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

Not a great location, but if u r looking for a good meal prepared with fresh ingredients, this is a place to try. The salads were very fresh, the arugula with portabella mushrooms was very good. We had the Branzino with the champagne sauce for entreé, and it came with veggies and potatoes deux phinoise. A very nice dish.
Did not try the pastas.
Ended with the tiramisu, which was light with a nice coffee taste, as it should be.
The 2 things I would improve are: more wines by the glass, very small selection is offered, and sitting by the window made me feel as if we were in a fish bowl.
Cheers.

“A welcome contrast to the some of the more glitzy venues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Good honest authentic and delicious Italian food. A really buzzy and popular place so booking is an absolute must. Great service and we would definitely return. A place that has definitely stood the test of time and more than holds it own against the multitude of restaurants in this area.

“simply a gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

I've been to Miami many times and cannot believe I am only now discovering what could arguably be the best restaurant in Miami. the exterior decor is surprisingly deceptive as it contrasts with the warmth and class of the interior. I had the black ink squid pasta with Lobster sauce which was simply amazing.
the attention to detail and the quality of the produce come across in every bite you take. All hte items on the menu are handmade, and boy can you tell. we had several different dishes at our table, and all were of the highest quality. In addition to fantastic food the staff led by Gilbert Gonzalez carry that attention to detail to their interaction with their customers, the service staff are extremely efficient and friendly without being overbearing.
I could go on for pages on how great of a place this is, bottom line don't go to South Florida without making a run at Osteria del Teatro

“Wonderful Italian: Teens loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

We took our daughters with us. Our meal was wonderful. I had the Risotto. To die for. Incredible. Daughters had fettuccine w lobster sauce, husband had beef. This is a cute, small restaurant, the food was fresh and we had a great time.
