Joe's is always good. Very expensive buy "value for your money"
We arrive at 5 pm on Jan. 4, 2013
There were some table free and got it immediately.
30 minutes later was packed.
Carlos the waiter very kind and warm, but forgot couple of things so, needed to be requested again.
I got al Albariño white wine from Spain ( Rias Baixas) $34. Good enough.
Waiter tried to sell 2 or 3 orders of famous and select Stone Crabs. Giant $44 or so 5 medium pieces.
In Garcia's or Casablanca, same size but 3, $36 or so.
My daughter got a Mahi Mahi Glazes. Was excellent. I got a Cioppino ( seafood res soup) excellent, on of the best I tried. $47 or so.
Salmon of the day, little bit dry, big portion. Nothing special. $27
Hamburger for my other daughter, was OK
Lemon Pie, traditional, was excellent.
We ask for coffee at the terrace and waitress, less than kind said "Only american Coffee" . Can you imagine in a rest. Like that with no espresso?
I asked for Te.
She request immediately pay, after spending $270 or more inside.
Of course she asked for tip.
What she did?
I left $1. And she was angry.
