“Had to wait a looooong time for service.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

We love Lincoln Road and the people-watching it provides, this restaurant delivers on the people watching. Once seated, we waited for a long time for anyone to come and greet us, take orders, anything, but, nothing, there were some employees who looked at us, but they just looked at us. So, I had to go up to the host stand to initiate any kind of service (they were not busy, many empty tables) Finally got a server, and he did a decent job. Their food were generously portioned but average, the prices are a bit lower compared to other restaurants in the area.

“Popular place for food it has a good jazz club upstairs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

In my opinion better for jazz than for food as it has a very average menu but it is always crowded at any hour, not for choosy palate. The jazz club is small but musicians are always great plus is inLincoln Road the most popular area of Miami Beach

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

The food was incredible and dessert was even better. The decor inside was also gorgeous. I cannot wait to visit again and hang out in the upstairs also.

“Good lunch/brunch choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Diverse menu for your group to choose from. I've had the breakfast items several times and they've all been good. If you're looking for a place to people watch during the day on Lincoln Road with good food, try Van Dyke's.

“Great outdoor location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Four of us ate lunch here on a hot sunny Miami Beach day, although the sun was high in the sky, we we offered our pick of the tables available, the greeter, aware we had a large dog with us found us a lovely table away from the main thoroughfare and with plenty of shade.
Without asking she brought us two large bowls of water for Layla ( the dog ) and was very friendly.
The menu was pretty good and when the food came it was up to and probably a little beyond my expectations for a mainstream restaurant.
My friend Leah has food intolerances and asked for a dish without the dressing, when it arrived it had the dressing on it so the waiter apologised and without delay took it away and brought the dish as it was requested. A potentially painful slip up for Leah but it was resolved quickly.
The food was very good and, considering the location, the bill wasn't horrendous either.
