Small place, may seem little crowded sometimes. Mojito was good, though the first one had just little too much mint leaves. On the second drink, I mentioned the fact and the drink was good.

Ordered goat stew. Goat meat is not that bad and you might find it rather exotic, if you keep an open mind for it. Came with white rice, bean soup and a some lemon juice with hot green pepper taste in it. My wife ordered some okra soup as side and she liked it too. Food prices are decent, but beverage seemed little pricey (for the place), but then you are in SoBe.

The best part of the evening was the south american music (kind of local jazz). It was great. One of the customers and couple of waiters danced in native south american way towards the end.

I ate at Tap Tap a long time ago & went back a year later on another trip to SoBe. I remember liking everything, but the dessert, Pain Patat, was especially memorable. A boniato (sweet potato) pudding that was light and sweet and gingery. I still dream about it years later. If it's on the menu, order it! If you can get the recipe, please email it to me.
