Can't rate this restaurant highly enough. True that Miami service is inconsistent, but the hostess seated us inside at one of the best spots in the restaurant -- just behind the glass in two easy chairs.
The service was a bit slow but they were slammed and with the view and atmosphere, we were in absolutely no rush, loving every bit of it. The music is hip and at the same time, low enough of a volume to allow easy conversation.
The food? TONS to choose from. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with onion rings, smoked cheese, bacon, the works. Phenomenal. And yes, like other reviewers, ended up taking home half of it to enjoy at a later time (leftovers eaten cold were just as good -- ok, maybe our hunger level at the time of leftover consumption had something to do with it!). My buddy ordered the soup and sandwich and was completely full from it. He also loved the entree.
We got in just as one of those tropical rainbursts hit. The wind and rain really picked up and the staff was quick to drop the walls on the outside umbrellas, sweep excess water out of the dining area, and just generally be attentive to patrons. Some patrons did get a little wet, but from out vantage (good view), we could see the staff taking the extra mile to take care of customers.
We unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but we will be re-visiting the place.
Cost is a little high, but in line with Miami. And you do get a lot of food for your money.
