“Great meal, but lose the foam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This restaurant is very good. It is in the SLS hotel, which means that there are beautiful people walking thru the restaurant to get to the pool bar and nightclub. That is good and bad. Would prefer not to have people walking thru the place. But at least they are good looking.

The room is gorgeous. Love the huge chandelier. As for the food, I really liked it. Very creative menu. Some traditional tapas mixed in with some Asian style tapas. There were a couple of dishes that were gimmicky. And come on Jose. Foam is so 5 years ago. Move on. But I enjoyed the meal immensely.

It ain't cheap. But not much in South Beach is. And at least this is worth it.

“Once in a Lifetime Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

I always eat at the best restaurants and it is hard to impress me. But the 500 I paid four people dinner, drinks, and dessert was worth it. A tapas menu that will blow your mind. Seriously, this is something so amazing just forget the price and do it. Have the waiter help you with suggestions as the menu is overwhelming.

“Magical meal worth the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Unexpected presentation, spectacular decor and unbelievable service combine to create a magical culinary experience inspired by Spanish Tapas, but truly taking it to another level. This is an ultrapremium price point, but a true treat.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I just had dinner at the Bazaar, the hotel concierge highly recommended the restaurant.
The ambience is nice, and the service is OK. I was disappointed for what it suppose to be an "Outstanding Chef", maybe the problem is that he has too many restaurants and it is difficult to have outstanding quality if the chef is not there.
The waiter recommended to have 3 ou 4 tapas, but they are so small, that I ended up having 6. Food is good but not exceptional, and not that much creativity on the preparation.
The Cuban Coffee Rubbed Churrasco was totally burned, churrasco, means grilled, but not burned. I did not complain since I did not want another long wait for the plate.

“The Ultimate South Beach Restaurant Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

We went here last night and absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding in every way. There were five of us, we each ordered four things, and the restaurant pretty much put five pieces on each plate. So we each got a taste of each plate. Yes, it's tapas, and yes, that means small servings, but if you go with a group and share, you have plenty to eat. And, man, was it good. Honestly, every single bite was sheer pleasure. A few recommendations -- the eel thing in the seviche list, the gazpacho, the endive with goat cheese, any of the hams (we had two, both heavenly), the scallop seviche (who would have guessed) -- I could go on and on. The service was helpful, friendly, and seamless, the people-watching was huge fun, the room is exquisite. And we thought the cost was pretty reasonable for what we had. So take the time to book a table well in advance, save this for your one really great night out in South Beach, and remember to take a look around at the theater of this place.
