“Best bar in SB”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

If you don't want to deal with the pretentious club scene and enjoy jukeboxes, rationally priced alcohol, smoking bartenders and customers, and sweet old Miami Vice neons then this is your bar. If not, stay the hell out.

“A blast from the Past, Miami Beach 1926”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Sorry it is not the Ritz or some of the high priced Clubs down the street but this please has been in Miami Beach for over 80 years, its called a dive bar. I felt like I walked back to the 50's . I had 4 Bloody Marys for $12 total. It's americana and a hang out of the locals only steps away from Collins Avenue. The bar tender is a great guy who makes the best drinks and has been there for only 10 years ! If you get hungry walk across the street to the Sandwhicheria and feast on a sandwich for under $10 gone are the days of Wolfies on 21st street or the Rascal House in North Miami , sorrry Jerry's Delli is not the same.

“Quirky, cool, hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

After doing a little research on the area and the bars this was definitely top of our list. If u want a cool, dark bar full of very interesting characters and an amazing happy 'hour' (which should really be called happy 'day' as it runs from 8am-7pm for buy one get one free) then this is the place for you! We went in around 1pm and got speaking to every person that was at the bar-they are locals now but had come from all over.

We spent $20 and each had 3 drinks- ( our BOGOF and one of the locals actually bought us a drink as well!) this included leaving a generous tip as we just loved the place. I personally would put a bar like this above any of the poser-ish type places that are a plenty around this area. The owner was also there- 97 yrs old and in the bar everyday! Amazing- will definitely be back over the next week of our holiday!

“The Deuce ain't for you...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2012

If you are looking for the glitzy glam clubs of Sobe, are from a foreign country with limited knowledge of American culture, straight off the cruise ship, would not think twice about dropping $30 for a drink on Ocean drive, don't mind paying a cover charge, live in a gated community, seek out smoke free bars, don't mingle well with the "common" folk, prefer your cocktails in a fancy glass...

If you don't even bother to patronize the dive bars in your town then do yourself a favor and head three blocks east to your comfort zone.

“Easily the best bar in Miami. Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

Don't get me wrong, I love Miami, but when the fake side of it begins to get me down, I love a good strong dose of authenticity, and Mac's Club Deuce does authentic like no where else. The barmen are professionals, the decor is what you want from a dirrrty bar and the atmosphere is friendly with a slight edge of danger. It is not for everyone, but for me, it is my perfect bar.
