Truly a wonderful beach!!!!! However, it has changed over the years. I found that more people chose the 'option' of keeping their suits on. Hmmmm maybe a little voyeurism at work. More important is the fact that the small hotels just north of the beach have been plowed under! Now they have morphed into New York City style skyscrapers, practically overnight. Not that I am against property owner's rights to the 'highest and best use' philosophy since I am a Realtor, but the massive expansion has brought on issues that I think need to be addressed. Unfortunately, teens and tweens tend to want to explore and wander away from their elders in search of anything of interest. And, yes, it is easy to walk down the beach from these monstrous abodes and stumble upon an experience that leaves the conservative's young wide-eyed and slightly more educated. Nevertheless, a beautiful beach, especially EARLY in the morning when it is less overcome with gawkers and the water is extremely calm. Oh well, maybe a larger fence at either end would be a good idea. Anyway, enjoy! I'm looking forward to Bonaire next month where clothing is not an option at the very private resort there!
