We ate for the second time here in March 2013 and came away with the same impression. The decor looks like a classy version of Liberace's house (as I imagine it would look like), with a bunch of pretty South Beach people constantly flowing in and out, and with some very good food. My girlfriend said her grilled octopus appetizer was one of the best she ever had, while her entree, king salmon, and my meal of zucchini fritters and pomodoro pasta, were all also very good. Throw three glasses of wine and a tip on that and it came to a couple hundred dollars, so be prepared.
The reason for the missing star is that this clearly is an upscale place to eat with an expensive menu. Yet the table next to us had two children who were watching a movie quite loudly on a tablet. The parents didn't care that their children were disturbing other guests and neither did the staff.
Despite that, we'd probably go back again to hopefully enjoy the food and ambiance.
