“Wonderful for young travelers on the cheap!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011 via mobile

I'm in my mid-20's and this was my first stay in a hostel. I thought it was pretty good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It is very affordable. Located in the heart of party central South Beach, one block from the beach. I stayed in a dorm with 6 other girls from all over the world. 2 from France, 1 from Switzerland, 1 from Brazil, 1 from Canada; so many languages in 1 place. The room was pretty clean and it was cleaned twice a day. Of course the cleanliness of the rooms vary with the occupants. If you are a college student or used to dorm-styled living with rowdy roommates; this hostel isn't far removed. If you need dead silence to sleep bring ear plugs. If you need privacy and don't like be woken up at 6 am by your drunk dorm mates coming in from the club get a private room for a little more money or get a hotel. The people there love to party-hardy. This place is for the young and care-free crowd.

Book a different hostel if you want to sleep or come to Miami for an easy Beach Vacation.
The drinks are much cheaper and they organize to go out every night. Make sure you get lots of drinks before you go, Miami Nightlife is a rip-off! There is a 7-Eleven next door which sells Alcohol and staff had no problems to drink it in Lobby.

It was def not the cleanest hostel that I have ever visited. However, they had tons of free meals (and beer!) and the location is amazing. They held my valuables too behind the desk which was nice. Close to the beach which is key. Why else go to Miami???

Never seen something bad like this! The hostel was dirty and the staff was very very unfriendly, cheeky and bold!! Wifi just worked in the "lobby". The location is okay, close to the beach and restaurants. We had a reservation for 4 nights and we payed the deposit of USD 50. We arrived on Thursday instead of Wednsday, but informed them Tuesday. incomprehensibly, they had no room available and they wanted us to pay the whole amount (for 4 nights)!!! we were totally flabbergasted. Furthermore, the private rooms are far too expensive!! There are other hotels at miami beach with have a much better price-performance ratio. Please, do not chose this hostel, its horrible!!!

Me and four mates stayed at this hostel for 10 nights and I could not fault the hostel 1bit! Clean, friendly, great value for money! Rooms are basic but what do you expect pay 20-30 dollars a night!
Would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great Miami experience! The staff are fantastic and take you to all the best clubs and bars!

A great holiday made fantastic by the hostel.

Already booked up for next summer

Peace out! Matty (England)

Our experience at this hostel was quite mixed, although it was very good in the sense that there was free meals and all the guests are so friendly and it really is a party 24/7, we did have some trouble which is pretty much expected wherever you go. The incident of a boy being booked into our female dorm was quickly corrected and the owner was extremely nice and apologetic to us. What I loved about the hostel was the atmosphere it is hard to get that atmosphere when everyone are strangers but somehow it just works. The late night staff are awesome and you'll have a good time if you go. The hostel also has such a good location it is right by the beach and all the shops, who needs anything else?

I stayed at the hostel for around 2 weeks.
The reason why I picked this hostel was because it was cheap, close to the beach, free food and parties. None of this really was true.
When we first got to the hostel, it was pretty late, and all we wanted to do, was to go to bed.
But no, they didn`t have a room for us, as they were overbooked. So they called a taxi and said they had a room for us at another hostel in town. The taxi man drove us to the airport, he said the hostel told him to, so we made him turn back. When we finally got to the right hostel, they did not know that we were coming. But they found a room for us. It was HORRIBLE. 2 bunk beds, really small room, and pretty much awful. But it was only for night. We went back the day after to Miami International Hostel. They didn`t have our room yet ready. But after a couple of hours, it was finally ready. The only problem now, was that the hostel was 15 minutes away! So we had to walk all the way over to our room, with all our luggage. The room we got was pretty big, but not nice. Had a TV and a kitchen.
It was a noisy area, but I think it is alot louder at the hostel.
It was a long walk to the beach and to the rest of the city & shopping. We did never eat food at the hostel, as it was so far to walk. And we also didn`t attend any of the parties, because we didn`t feel like we were apart of the hostel at all.
I would not stay here again!!

Room Tip: The rooms are FAR away from the hostel
