“Amazing XMAS and New Year (Dec 2013 - Jan 2014)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

We've stayed 10 days here and everything was perfect! We've been in Suite 301 facing Espanola Way (which is “pedestrians only” after 6 pm). The suite was spotless. We've paid 30 $ extra and we've got one cleaning day - new sheets and towels and an all-over cleaning.
The kitchenette has a stove/oven, toaster, coffee maker, big fridge, spoons, forks, plates, etc. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures from their website. We've used only the coffee maker and the fridge, since there are so many different places to eat outside (we didn't eat twice in the same restaurant). The bathroom is large, and has nice storage space.
Entering the building and suite was very easy: you just have to use the code given to you. There is an elevator.
The noise mentioned in many other reviews is real :-) so if you like to go to bed at 11 pm maybe this suite is not for you – ask for a suite facing Drexel Street or the back of the building. But this was not what bothered us the most. The sidewalk cleaning at 8 am with heavy machinery each morning was really not a pleasant wakeup – so you go to sleep at 1-2 am and wake up at 8 am. But we’ve slept on the beach :-) :-)
South Beach is amazing and Espanola Way with all nice restaurants is really a nice spot ! I will go back tomorrow if possible! Thank you, Espanola Way Suite for making our stay a pleasant one! We hope that next year we will be back.

This is a great place to stay at the South Beach. Spanola way is full of life! It has plenty of restaurantes and bars. The Espanola way suites work as a flat service. We did not have contact with anyone there. So, don´t expect room service. You receive a code for the building and another one for the room. The apartament is excelent. You get a lot of space, and the bedroom is very nice. We loved everything. The curtains dont have blackouts, but that didnt avoid us to sleep late. We were not bothered by the sounds from the street, although we were close. I think it was because we slept after midnight. IMHO, this is the PERFECT place to stay for young couples. I really recomended. It was our best experience on our trip of orlando/Miami. They also changed our reservation without charging extra, it was really nice of them.

This is our second time staying here. We came back for the location, and the feeling of having our own apartment in south beach. The cleaning could be better... The place wasn't unacceptable, but the microwave wasn't cleaned and had a paper towel and crumbs in it when we got there. Last year, the shower floor wasn't up to par... They should gut those shower floors, and replace them with something that can be cleaned easily. Next time, I'm disputing the mandatory cleaning fee if the place isn't in shape.

Other than that, the place is conveniently located in the heart if SoBe. If you're a light sleeper I would suggest staying on the Drexel side rather than the Espanola Way side as it gets noisy at night. If you're looking for room service, bell hops, concierge, reception, etc... This place isn't for you. It's more like staying at a friend's apartment for the time you're there rather than a hotel.

If you love the night life this is a fantastic place to stay. you will be above cafes that stay open until 2am. you will hear noise but i slept well despite that. the room was very clean with no bugs or signs of them. its everything you see in the pics. its also walking distance from ocean drive where the Big action is. i say "Big" because there's action everywhere. if latenight noise is a problem for you, this might be your only problem.

Room Tip: If you want to take a chance with the noise, choose a room that does not face the street. get a room...

My friend and I got a deal on Livingsocial for this place. Worth every penny! Although the rooms and bed are smaller than in the pictures we were fine with everything. The suite was very clean! and the street wasn't even as noisy as some of the other reviews mention. The small simplicity of the suite was very homey it made me feel like i was actually living in South Beach.
It is located right on Espanola Way, a very vibrant street at night and it was beautiful! literally so close to the beach! Also very close to Lincoln Mall Road (shopping street) think 5th Ave. NYC but less expensive and more vibrant.
there are many restaurants located nearby. If youre there you HAVE to eat Cuban food! I had a great experience at Havana 1957 even though it's a chain restaurant but it was delicious!
Expect to bring a lot of money to Miami and don't even bother to work out before coming here because you'll eat a lot anyways! just remember gratuity will be included when the bill come!
Anyways, I highly recommend this lodge. Enjoy the stay!

Room Tip: If you don't mind the noise stay on level 2 with a balcony! will be worth it! otherwise choose...

I stayed there last in March 2012 and the toilet was clogged and the office told us that they couldn't fix it that were were on our own which i think is ridiculous!!!
If you are looking to sleep during the morning and party at night then you are set anywhere in the bldg.
If you are looking to sleep thru the night then probably should request a room away from Espanola Street.
Overall the place was roomy, clean and new. The kitchenette was NOT fully stocked for you to cook and eat there.

Couldn't say enough great things about Espanola Way Suites.

I was looking for a quick getaway from the DC area to escape the cold weather and happened to find an incredible great deal on flight. I ended up visiting during the WMC and this place, by far, had the best deal.

We booked our five day excursion and about two weeks prior, we received a confirmation containing all of the information we needed; building and room codes, wifi information, general dos and don'ts, and contact information.

We arrived with no issues. Its located right in the heart of south beach and along Espanola Way. Its a cute, safe area, filled with plenty of restaurants and little boutiques.

We stayed in suite 301 and its was amazing. Super roomy and clean. What more could someone ask for? Our suite faced Espanola Way and I'll say, we could definitely hear the night conversations, music and laughter but it didn't bother me. I can sleep through a lot of noise but in case you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

We opted out of the daily cleaning just to save on costs, and it worked out great. We're clean ladies so we brought along dish washing liquid and a sponge to clean dishes since these items were not listed on the inventory list and we wanted to be prepared.

When I visit Miami again, this will be the place I plan to stay. I loved everything about my stay.
