My wife and I stayed here for two nights prior to departing on a cruise. Previously, we have stayed at The Loews, The Ritz, The Pelican and The Marriott. All very nice places to stay. However, we found this hotel a very enjoyable place to stay. First off, the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The pool on the top floor has a great view of the ocean with friendly bartenders who kept us refreshed with wonderful concoctions.

Our room was clean, a bit small, but decorated well. Bathroom was clean with a nice shower.

Our room faced 8th Ave and we did not encounter any noise issues on a Thursday or Friday night of our stay.

The hotel is one block from the beach, one block from The News Cafe, in the middle of a good shopping area, 7 blocks from a Starbucks.

We actually arrived at 9:30 am on a Thursday and both rooms in our group were ready!!!

Concierge staff was informed and very helpful.

We will definitely return.

This is the second time we have stayed. It is not cheap but the location, pool, cleanliness and freindly staff (especially David) make it worth the money.

Having the pool on the roof and beds reserved for you on the beach is a great plus and with everything on your door step I recommend you give it a try.

We are hoping to go back, if only to see David singing on the door x

We spent 5 nights in the ocean front room, which had great views, large space, nice amenities and great location. Although we were directly above the News Cafe, a 24 hour cafe, once we closed our doors, it was very quiet. Our room included a continental breakfast, which we took at the rooftop pool Chaise lounges and towels on the beach across the street were also included. Very nice touches. The most impressive thing was that everyone at the hotel from baggage handler to check in and hotel manager was extremely helpful and genuinely interested if they could help you with anything. Would definitely return here.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 day stay at The Hotel! The location is within walking distance from all the attractions in South Beach.

Compared to other hotels in the area, The Hotel is well priced, but at the same time very clean and modern. The beach is very close and lounge chairs/towels are included in the price of the hotel (most hotels in the area charge about $25 per day).

The staff are amazing! We mentioned we were visiting for my birthday and were given vouchers for free drinks. The first night our air conditioning was making weird noises, keeping us up. We let the front desk know the next morning were moved (to an upgraded room!) within hours.

Only downside of The Hotel is that the walls are a bit thin. However, without a doubt I would stay again my next time in South Beach.
