“The Sagamore is a spectacular hotel, great location, chic atmosphere, fine art and superior staff service!~”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2010

We just returned from our stay at The Sagamore, The Art Hotel in Miami Beach Florida. The hotel was spectacular. We were provided fabulous service by EVERY member of the Sagamore Staff. Everyone was extremely pleasant and accommodating! The art in the hotel is very impressive and provided a great backdrop in conjunction with the clean, white and extremely chic decor! Even the music was fabulous. We relaxed by the pool each day and enjoyed the fabulous cuisine that was provided, as well as the beautiful ocean view just beyond their gates.

Some of our party even enjoyed Parasailing which was just steps away from the hotel. What a great adventure!

This is an excellent location-- close to all things South Beach. The Sagamore is a must see! We hope to return each year, at least!

in all fairness we made the booking at the last minute so maybe we didnt get the best room, although they did not seem too busy. the room was small and cramped, badly designed in the name of trendy. we found it to be expensive for what it was but then again the location is not cheap. the frosted glass in the bathroom door provides a nice frame for the show you are putting on when you go to the bathroom as it is almost clear! i think this hotel was obviously originally built as a party hotel. the reception staff need training in customer service, we turned up late after a long drive, perhaps not looking our best but the receptionist obviously thought we were beneath her and her hotel. we had breakfast in the hotel, the waitress was very nice and attentive, the food was decent.
on my next trip I will probably stay elsewhere.

Our room was spacious, clean, and pin drop quiet at night so we could sleep and be well rested for conference meetings at the Miami Convention Center. We chose this hotel because of both its close proximity to the Convention Center and only one block from Lincoln Road's restaurants and stores. The staff could not be nicer. The concierge was most helpful in supplying information on restaurants and activities. We were able to sign out a hotel laptop for one hour free of charge. Would definitely return for another stay at this hotel.

My first time in Miami, but with a partner who has been there 5/6 times and so she recommended the Sagamore, as it is much smaller and less 'coach party' feel about it tham some hotels in Miami.
We had a bungalow suite for 4 nights and it was great, as we had lots of room to lounge about, plus we were able to visit the Tequila party on our first night during the Food and Wine festival. That was very messy!
Highly recommend, as it is very boutique, but it does have style!

I planned a trip to Miami to bring in the new year 2010 at the SAGAMORE..
What a fabulous time we had over our long weekend!!
-Without a doubt a prime location! we where able to walk every where thru out the day
and evenings were easy enough to get to whether on foot or cab.
-The lobby area is striking and I love the assorted art work that the hotel showcases as you
walk out to the lounge/pool area...
-I will say that the pool is a great place to relax and even though it took sometime to receive our
drinks it was well worth the wait..The bartenders are great there and sitting poolside and eating appetizers was a treat for the food is quite delicious!!
-One factor , seeing as how i dont know miami very well is the recomendations that
we received by "the head Concierge" Christian...He was a great source of info and was
right on with his suggestions when meeting our requests that we had whether if be shopping or dining out .. He made the stay very comfortable and continuously checked in with us to make
sure that we where happy with everything...
Im looking forward to my next trip to miami and will without a doubt be staying at the SAGAMORE.

Great localization, excellent pool and really beautiful decoration. And that is it!

All the bedroom is a little bit damaged and excluding the bed, nothing is high quality. The suite I stayed was unbelievably noisy! Any time, all the time… Impossible to relax and even more difficult to have a nice sleep.

Considering the rates and the pictures I seen on the net, I felt like everything is really overpromise. I don’t recommend the hotel for those who wants a more quiet and cozy staying.

Spent 6 nights at the sagamore in feb/2010, had a great relaxing stay. Rooms are huge, and super comfortable. Great location, just across the street from Lincoln Rd, and a 5 minute walk to Ocean Dr.
Hotel was very clean, and well maintained, staff was helpful. The courtyard was very well appointed, The pool was heated, and the outdoor staff was super attentive and helpful.
The only issue I had with the hotel, when you closed your door to your room, it would slam and shake the entire floor(not a big deal in the daytime or early evening, but late in the evening, thats all you heard)They need automatic door closers for the rooms.
Will definately stay there again, and would recommend to others
