“Excellent Beach Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Just a quick note to say that we have stayed at the Sagamore 5 times now, and the beach service keeps getting better and better.
Zoran is amazing ! Friendly, efficient, courteous !
WE love the Sagamore for its excellent quality & price ratio, and the little things like beach service and warm welcomes are so appreciated !

Sagamore is THE Art Hotel. The most beautiful Art decoration I have ever seen. Many art pictures all along the place and into special rooms, sculptures and objects very smartly placed. The Stairwell Project is a must see. Staff is so gentle and helpful and any request is fulfilled in minutes. The location is superb, one block to Lincoln Road, Walgreens at next corner and CVS two blocks down, Delano Hotel is next door and Ritz-Carlton next corner. Lincoln Road Boulevard is 5 minutes walking plenty of restaurants and stores of all kind. Ocean Drive and Art Deco District is 10 minutes to the south thru broad walk.
Swimming pool is not big but enough to refresh. At the beach, chairs and umbrella with bar service is very convenient. Restaurant is along side the main corridor and sometimes get a little busy there. Inside bar with large screen is relaxing. The room we got is very spacious, bedroom, lounge with big screen TV, table and chairs in the small kitchen, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster. You must request utensils and silverware each time you need. Cleaning is good, mattress is firm, not soft neither hard, the toillet is separated from the bathtub and sink. Price is slight more than average. I recommend for people who has same profile as mine.

Room Tip: rooms facing the Collins Ave are a bit noisy but do not disturb, because the windows are good. Bunga...

Racedude,

Thanks for your review after your recent stay at Sagamore. We are very happy to hear that you had such a great experience here with us.

Our art collection is certainly what helps Sagamore stand out from the rest of the properties in the area as it rivals that of many museums. The art collection, combined with our central location and terrific staff are the reason that Sagamore has become a favorite for travelers from all across the world.

We hope you have found your new hotel of choice here on South Beach and we look forward to seeing you next time. Thanks again for choosing Sagamore!

Spent a fantastic few days at the Sagamore with my wife and 5 year old daughter. Highlights included watching the world cup games at the pool bar with the excellent bar man Micky who took good care of us. Great ambiance by the pool with the exception of the the loud and terrible house music from the Hotel National next door.

Thanks for taking a moment to share your feedback after your stay here at Sagamore. We are glad that you had a great stay here with us.

The pool bar is a great spot to watch any game while enjoying a cold beverage no matter what team you are cheering for! We are glad that despite the event going on next door, you were able to make the most of your time here at our pool, and truly enjoy your days.

We thank you again for choosing Sagamore and look forward to welcoming you back very soon!

Stayed at the Sagamore as I have in the past beginning in 2003. Still a classic. Still could use some updating, but has been well-maintained for the past 11 years. THANK YOU MICKEY at the Pool/Pool Bar. He was great! Also, thank you Edgar, our concierge.

Room Tip: Check out Magellan Vacations!

I have travelled extensively throughout the US and all around the world and this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The staff was amazingly accommodating...we felt like VIPs everytime we moved about on the hotel premises from our room to the lobby to the pool and beach. The rooms and premises are spacious and inviting and the location is unbeatable with the beach, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife...even a convenience store within short walking distance. When I return to Miami I will most certainly stay at the Sagamore again!

Mrz_wurldwide516,

Thanks for your review on Sagamore. We are thrilled that you had such an amazing experience here with us at Sagamore.

It is always our goal to treat each and every one of our guests as a VIP and we are glad that we were able to provide you with this experience as well. Being a smaller boutique property allows us that unique ability to interact with all of our guests on a more personal level and that can go a long way in making someone’s stay a memorable one.

We thank you again for choosing Sagamore hope you will be back soon!

This was my first visit to Sagamore in SoBe -- it won't be my last. Staff members were friendly and very attentive to our needs -- service with a smile. Sagamore hotel has large suites and amenities galore. We had a spacious (550 sq. ft) luxury standard suite, fully stocked kitchenette with gourmet bar & snack selections. The hotel is within walking distance to Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive -- many restaurants, shops. This property is located on the beach. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a 2-story bungalow if you have more than 4 people -- very spacious.

Gottagegetaway70,

Thanks for sharing your review of Sagamore. We are very happy to hear that you had such a memorable stay here with us.

With so many similar hotels in the area, many times it can be the staff that helps set each hotel apart and here at the Sagamore we can proudly say that our staff and their “can do” attitude that make us one of the best hotels in all of Miami Beach.

We take great pride in delivering to all our guests an experience such as yours and making sure each one of our guests leave with an unforgettable experience.

The Sagamore hotel has many great amenities but unfortunately the room we had was a huge disappointment. One of the previous reviewers stated to avoid the room with the alley view at all cost. Whoopsie, guess what room we had! The floor looked dirty and it was tight with two teenagers on the couch. The family loved everything outside the room like the pool and beach access, art deco, and the food. The staff members like George at the pool, and the night staff were the best. They were very attentive to all of our needs. Kudos to them!!!!! The hotel rooms need updating for the cost or they may be intentionally saving those room for hotwire customers. LOL!!!

SIncero1,

Thanks for taking a moment to share your feedback after your stay with us.

We are sorry that you were disappointed in the suite as although the hotel itself is oceanfront, not all of our suites are. Our Sagamore suites are some of the largest in the area, however do offer a limited view.

We are happy however that our staff was able to help turn your stay around and make it a very enjoyable one. We will be sure to pass along your great praise to them as they always like to know their hard work and attention to detail does not go unnoticed. We urge you next time to look into reserving one of our oceanfront or garden view suites as the added bonus of a view with the "can do" attitude of our staff can make for a very enjoyable overall experience.

We thank you again for choosing Sagamore and look forward to the opportunity to provide you with a better experience next time.

Best Regards,
James D’Agostino
