We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. When booking online, it seemed to be a reasonable hotel for Miami Beach. The location is excellent if you are wanting to lounge on the beach, but there are few restaurants and shops nearby. We found we had to drive everywhere.
The breakfast at the hotel was good, but at $50 for two people (with built-in gratuity for a buffet!) we thought it was a bit pricey. Drinks at the bar were expensive as well ($12 for a mojito in a small glass) and of course you have to pay $25 for a chair on the beach.
If you can get this for $100 or less, go for it, but we paid over $220 a night, which we didn't feel was worth it for this tired, dated hotel.

The hotel is right on the beach, in a perfect location since is not in the middle of the craziness of south beach but you still have the beauty of Miami Beach. The price is very reasonable but the best was the customer service and cleanness of the room! No odors, hairs or any "surprise"!!!... and the team was very customer oriented, specially the management.

We stayed here prior to embarkation of a cruise. The hotel is very bright and welcoming but could do with a bit of a refresh in the communal areas. Our room was situated on the balcony over looking the reception area. The room was spacious enough for our 2 night stay or longer and the bathroom facilities were fine for our needs. Due to our room position we did hear a fair amount of noise from the reception area early morning as staff arrived but it was not excessive. We dined in the restaurant for our breakfast and it was fine and the staff very friendly and attentive.

We used public transport to get to the hotel from the airport and also took a bus to Aventura Mall and this was very straight forward.

We would stay here again for a couple of nights but would ask for a room located further from the reception.

Right from the start things were bad. We had requested an early check-in since my husband had to arrive early (9am) to set up for a convention and we were told no rooms were available to leave our bags at the front and come back around noon. There was nothing we could do so we ventured out. We came back at noon to be told a room is still not available, check back in a couple of hours. We did not get into a room until 3:30pm. We had reserved a king bed with a desk and an ocean view. We got a 2 double bed room with a small round table as a desk and their idea of an ocean view is to lean over your balcony as far as you can and turn your head to the left. The lobby was renovated and nice, but there was a pungent tropical smell that had to have been piped through the vents. As you venture farther into the hotel you can see the renovations stopped at the lobby. The rooms and all furnishings are very outdated, the back elevator looked like they should have been a freight elevator and our room was not cleaned until late afternoon which put a damper on my day being done with my activities. All in all I could classify it as just a bed to sleep in. We will not be staying at another Best Western
