We decided to take a chance and try this Marriott property, rather than our normal Marriott South Beach. This was not nearly as good for our standards. The only good things were, nice central location for shopping and walking. Also, nice rooftop pool was fun. But, room wise we didn't get our expected upgrade, we are Gold Elite, and had to change rooms. Front desk was poorly managed. Lacked the upbeat and energetic attitude we come to anticipate and expect from any Marriott. After all, it is your first impression... Anyway, also had a coffee maker that failed to work properly with the supplied stuff. Asked for it to be checked and nobody followed-up. Sink was badly cracked in our first room. We had expected to be saving some money with the option of this Courtyard and still getting relatively the same level of amenities, but, next time we'll be back to the South Beach Marriott.
Make sure to request a top floor for views, otherwise, it won't be good.
